Christmas Countdown - 2012

I cut them in half and kept half of each one. We are taking the other halves to chemo to share with the other patients. This is supposedly the last time I will need chemo!!! Yay!!! I was so tired from the baking I did yesterday that I just could not participate in the wonderful dialog on Christmas in July; but I did read the posts!!!

And, somewhere along the way, I hit 50,000 posts. I have no idea how that happened!!!

Good afternoon!!! We went on vacation & we are back & we had a great time & how does that time go so fast???? ;) It is so hard to go back to work after several days off!!! But it was great. We went ziplining - what a blast! My hubby's uncle's place where we stayed is just beautiful. He has a home on 100 acres in southern Ohio... talk about getting away from it all! :)

At least I have Christmas in July at the lake to look forward too next weekend. Friday night is "Christmas Eve" - we are having snacks & watching the fireworks over the lake from the town festival. Saturday is Christmas complete with Christmas dinner - I am making a ham, my neighbor a turkey & everyone else is bringing all the fixings: pumpkin pie, dressing, sweet potato souffle, mashed potatoes, homemade noodles, + more & of course eggnog! After Christmas dinner is a white elephant gift exchange, then we are watching a Christmas movie on the big screen. We are talking about Christmas Vacation, Elf, or Christmas Story. Looking forward to it!!! :D

Seawaters - glad to hear this is your (hoping & praying) last chemo! How sweet to bring a treat for the other patients! Best wishes to you as well!!!! Keeping you in my thoughts/prayers!

Better get back to work...working on lowering this pile that built up on my desk over just a few days.... UGH!

Monday is over!!! it was a busy one...Brandi had dr appt after I got off work at 3...the dr said the baby is growing fast and wieghts about 2 pounds already which is 8 ouces more than it usually is at the 6th month...we may have a 10 pound baby.lol I hope not..but as long as everything is alright...thatt is what I care about the most...we stopped off at a thai place and got take out...now I am about to go to sleep...Hope everyone is doing good...ttyl!

Good evening,

Yahh Monday is done with! Just sitting here relaxing watching a cheezy movie called "Your Highness" mindless entertainment. We will be seeing "The Dark Knight Rises" tomorrow, I have anxiously awaited this movie for a few years now.

Watching QVC this weekend was quite fun with all of you, the commentary on here had me thinking of Mystery Science Theater 3000, I use to love that show.

Heat advisory and possible storms moving in. We still need all the rain we can get. What a dry hot summer its been. On my 2nd cup of coffee. Ready to go home, not for another 4 and a half hours but I'm READY lol. I watched a lot of QVC Christmas in July. Just what the DR ordered. Some crummy stuff and some nice stuff. Didn't buy anything though. Even William saw some of the Christmas tree's and pointed them out! He is a Christmas man in training haha. Nothing really new, just downloaded some nice relaxing Christmas music. Its creeping closer and closer. Bahh humbug to all the people that don't like Christmas when I talk about it haha. Hope you all stay cool and dry and have a great day!

I am so incredibly stupid !! I don't know why but when I read this is the last time you are supposed to need chemo I started crying my eyes out !! I am so glad....and I will keep you in my prayers and heart ALWAYS......xoxoxoxoxoxo

Sad news on tonight's show as Buddy tells everyone that his mom has been diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. Lots of tears as they talk openly about Marys prognosis.
