Good morning,

Just relaxing a bit before taking on a new day, we had a heck of a thunderstorm around 4am, there was so much lightning I got up and ran around the house shutting windows and shutting fans off. I was able to fall back to sleep pretty quickly, my issue is I get nervous and listen for a possible tornado after last year, I get really jumpy if something doesn't sound right. I am sure I am not the only one around the town who goes through that.
I should probably get up and greet the day!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a good afternoon yesterday. After work, I went down to Bernie's and pattied out some 1/2 lb. burgers and grilled them for supper, then the kids and I got in the pool. We didn't get out till 10PM! Then we all got on the golf cart and rode around Bellville for a little while, since it was so nice outside.

What a great evening!

My Christmas friends I have missed you all so much. I cant believe I havent logged on since 3/27! Almost 4 months..CRAZY! Anyways things are slowling down and I plan to at least get on here once a week because I need a little Christmas all the time now that its Christmas in July. I hope you all are doing well and I have a lot of catching up to do! I am having my big Christmas in July dinner on Saturday. Looking forward to the Fall (but not turning 30..my 30th Birthday is October 13 yikes!)

Sad news on tonight's show as Buddy tells everyone that his mom has been diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. Lots of tears as they talk openly about Marys prognosis.

we had to finally get a new 1 after Christmas last year. hubby thought what he got was "flocked". bless his heart. instead it's a large tree w/ cones, berries, & lots of different greens mingled in it & 1 type is a pine w/ lighter edges. i would not dare tell him different. it's a gorgeous tree anyway!

Good morning!!! It took me a long time to read all the posts since my last post yesterday! You all have been busy! I better start checking in a few times a day just to keep up! :smile:

MsChristmas...Welcome back!!! 30's aren't so bad, but let me tell ya....don't blink cuz next thing you know, 40 will be knocking on your door! :lol: BUT time going fast is a good thing I think - usually time only goes slow when you are doing something you don't want to be doing, or someone you love is sick, or you are sick... so time going fast is a good thing, right?! That means we are having fun! Glad to see you back!

I got a text from a neighbor at the lake EARLY this morning - she said she woke up thinking about what to bring/make for the Christmas in July party this weekend, & she couldn't get back to sleep! Ahhhh....love it!!!

It was a dark & stormy morning - I had a Christmas Cookie candle burning at home, listening to the storm - boy was it hard to leave the cozy home to come to work. Now I am having a Pumpkin Spice coffee, & I have a "mistletoe" tart going in the burner here at work.

I just love Christmas week! :wiggy:

Wow, that sounds so great, and being able to share it with your neighbor and others! If we do something, it'll be just the two of us. We're just getting back from a vacation too, so we may be too busy catching up with things to have a real CIJ celebration.

I'm in that position tomorrow ... no more vacation days until December. It'll be hard to climb back into the old rut for several months, but maybe we can support each other!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy. I need to spend the day cleaning. My apartment is a mess. I also need to spend some time looking for new turkey recipes. I have a ton of it left over from this weekend. Hey Bethelehem lights are on QVC in the UK. I wonder if they have their own version of Chad. Well I'm off. Howdy all!

Busy busy here! The first week in June was busy with the grandchildren. My mom and I took our grandchildren on a train trip to San Antonio and spent a few days at Seaworld. After that my grandsons were in day camp for 6 weeks so I just had my granddaughter full time while my daughter and son-in-law work. Then when day camp let out for the day, my grandsons would stay with me until their parents got off work.

They are done with day camp and so I will have all 3 of them full time for the rest of the summer. We started out with the spray water park yesterday and have some more fun stuff planned for the rest of summer. I am glad my mom will be helping me out!

I have been trying to keep up here but it's been a bit difficult. I will do my best!

Good morning Christmas friends. Im so excited that tomorrow is the 25th! I will be making Christmas cookies tomorrow afternoon with my Mom and Boys for my Christmas in July dinner on Saturday. Can you believe that in 5 short months it will be Christmas Eve? I dont want to rush the time too much but I wish we were into the nice crisp Fall weather with Thanksgiving and Christmas to look forward to still! Its going to be a warm up here today in the mid 90's.. and by Thursday we are suppose to hit 100... come on Fall hurry up!
