Great show so far. Hopefully it will be a good and peaceful games for everyone to enjoy. You have to admire the dedication of these athletes. Truly outstanding.
Good afternoon, Christmas friends! What is everyone up to? Not much going on here. The kids and I are just hanging out. DS is taking a nap and EA and I are watching tv. DH just left for work.
I work tonight myself, so my sister and her boyfriend are going to watch the kids for us. I am just waiting for them to get here, so I can do dinner.
What is everyone's plans this weekend? I work all weekend, but tomorrow evening, I plan on taking the kids out to my hometown, where they have a fireman's carnival every year and they will have a parade too. It will be fun for the kids.
I hope all of you are well and are enjoying your weekend. I feel awful that my life has been so busy, that I haven't been keeping up with the countdown - I enjoy responding to everyone's post. Now that DS is very mobile, it is much more harder with 2 kids to keep the computer away from. Hopefully once summer is over, my life will slow down a little.
Enjoy your evening and weekend. I will stop in tomorrow and say hello. God Bless and keep smiling!
It rained so much here yesterday. We had horrible storms last evening. DH had a lot of calls last night at work because of the storm.
I had a terrible time with the kids too, trying to keep them calm. The dog was the worst.
Thanks Louanne, it was good. We just got some bad storms here, which made the kids and Ella a little scared for a while, but we still had a fun evening.
We went to bed pretty early on - we were all really tired!
Got to eat dinner and then head back to the "funhouse." I will be back home before 10pm. Just a waste of gas to do a split shift. :-?

I did not have to go to work tonight and this is why...
TAVISTOCK - Many of Tavistock's 1,500 residents and 50 businesses are still without power in Tavistock following Thursday's early-morning lightning storm.
Power was returned around 5:30 p.m. last night but went out again around 11:30 and of 8:45 this morning much of Tavistock was still without hydro.
Lightning hit one of the substations in the community. Crews were called in to make repairs.
Affected residents were advised to keep fridges and freezers closed.
Tavistock residents were the only Erie Thames Power customers affected by outages due to the storm.
