Hey everyone! Just got back from going and buying some supplies for cosmetic work on the school. While we were there, told the wife that I needed to go look at shirts...I've lost about 25 pound since school was out...so I wanted to get some for the start of school. I have been putting back some money for new shirts with some spare change I've been putting back all summer.

We went to TJ Maxx...I saw some really nice shirts for around 24 or 25 bucks...but thought I will just go check our local Dillards...I heard they were having a sell. Would you believe they were having 60 and 70% off of their shirts. Do you know how much a $25 dollar shirt is with 70% off? Needless to say, I was so excited to walk away with 14 shirts to get me through probably the next 3 or 4 years (lol). Good night!

I'm hoping to see everyone in the morning. I leave tomorrow around 4:00, but I have a lot of packing and stuff to do...I still think I can get by for coffee. If not, I will see you tomorrow evening!

I am off from work until Monday, I need it I am so exhausted and I did something to my back, it hurts quite a bit right now. I am making chili for dinner it smells great! We have had downpour after downpour today, I drove home during a flash flood in Palmer, Massachusetts, I was worried I wasn't going to get home for a while, but I got here.

My brother informs me that he still has a few things to do on it, but it will be in my parking spot by next Friday!

I haven't been around the last few days, been busy at the house & at work. Hubby is gone for a few days on a business trip. I miss him when he's gone.

Thanks again to all of you who were involved w/ the Christmas eCard exchange!! I loved looking at them all, they were so beautiful =] And one was really funny...Made?! And special thanks to Meceka for my real card. So fun to get a Christmas card in the mail...in July!!

I got my Jim Hansel Christmas candles in the mail the other day, and was disappointed to find one had warped in the heat. Guess I'll have to send it back for an exchange..bummer..was so excited to start lighting them!

What is new w/ you guys?

Harlowe & I are feeling kind of claustrophobic. It's too hot to be outside- 109 & sunny again today- and we can't even go too far for a car ride because we are having radiator problems in the truck, a leak, and can't get it in to be fixed until next week. Besides, Adrian has the car. So, we have been trying to make the best of it by playing ball in the house & walking at night when a neighbor is willing to go w/ us. A few friends have come by to visit, which was nice.

Cannot wait for FALL!!

g'morn'in y'all! well lots of peeps were here yesterday & it was great, lots of laughter, smiles, dancing, & playing!!

today, i'm hang'in w/ my hubby & kids. a bit more low key day. will have to make sure hubby's all packed for the week.
my mama made me a pound cake & hubby made me 2 pies, 1 blueberry cream cheese & 1 cherry cream cheese. that's me fave, yummy. i really wasn't expecting anyone/thing for my b-day, was just gonna do my own celebrating but what a nice surprise!

my oh my, not even my b-day yet, that's tomorrow. how am i gonna top this? hhhmmmm?

I have some news from Bradmac that some of you already know and thanks to Caninemom for being observant that brought it to our attention.

I have stayed in touch with him and with his permission he said I could post because he said he could use a few more prayers.

Bradmac had a heart attack on Wednesday. Here is the message he sent me:

Whew! Yes, I had a heart attack Wednesday morning at work. But the local hospital did a great job of stabilizing me for the trip to a Savannah hospital. They put a stint in, and I feel much better. I'll be taking it easy for a week or so.

I'll be back later. Thanks for the concern!


He seems to be in good spirits and currently watching lots of Star Trek! He is also watching what he eats too! Instead of the typical breakfast at the store, it's egg beaters and decaf coffee! =)

Well, it's actually nice enough to sit on the deck this morning! The dogs are around me, laying around. Feels great to be outside in the morning drinking coffee. If only the Martins hadn't left, this would be perfect. Oh well, they will be back after Christmas!

Our high today is 96, so right now are at 76 and it's great.

On the weight loss, I started doing weight watchers online to start off with. Once I figured out what you can eat a lot of (fruits and vegetables), the weight loss wasn't a problem. Plus, riding the bike doesn't hurt, either. I'm really happy, but I have quite a ways to go. I'm debating taking my bike with me so I can exercise this week, but we will see.

I'm off...going to start watering the yard and packing. See everyone later!
