OUCH!!!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts. I've always heard that heart attacks were painful, but I had no real idea until Wednesday morning. I was just reading my email and drinking my coffee, then BAM!

I had a blocked artery, but they put in a stint and said I should be ok in time.

Thank the Lord for allowing me to stay with my family a while longer. That's all I could think about.

I'll be back later. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

So good to see you post! Also, thank the Lord for allowing you to stay here with MMC as well! It would not be the same without you!!! You had us really worried but so glad you are recovering!!!

You need a good dose of us MMC forums! That will heal you quickly!

Sunday hello! Thanks for all the messages that are happy about my cold going away. That's probably what did it!

People associate me with Harry Potter because I am a true Harry Potter fanatic !! I love all things HP !! xo

As an Amazon Prime member, I am able to "borrow" the Harry Potter books to read via Kindle for free. I just bought a bunch of discount books recently, but when I'm finished with them I think I will try the Harry Potter books.

Bradmac---so good to hear from you and to know that you're on the mend. So frightening to think of one of our own having a heart attack. (And about the same time as Darlene Love, too.)

Hey everyone! Just got back from going and buying some supplies for cosmetic work on the school. While we were there, told the wife that I needed to go look at shirts...I've lost about 25 pound since school was out...so I wanted to get some for the start of school. I have been putting back some money for new shirts with some spare change I've been putting back all summer.

We went to TJ Maxx...I saw some really nice shirts for around 24 or 25 bucks...but thought I will just go check our local Dillards...I heard they were having a sell. Would you believe they were having 60 and 70% off of their shirts. Do you know how much a $25 dollar shirt is with 70% off? Needless to say, I was so excited to walk away with 14 shirts to get me through probably the next 3 or 4 years (lol). Good night!

I'm hoping to see everyone in the morning. I leave tomorrow around 4:00, but I have a lot of packing and stuff to do...I still think I can get by for coffee. If not, I will see you tomorrow evening!

Have a good Sunday!!!!!!

Congrats on the weight loss and the find of shirts on sale!

I have some news from Bradmac that some of you already know and thanks to Caninemom for being observant that brought it to our attention.

I have stayed in touch with him and with his permission he said I could post because he said he could use a few more prayers.

Bradmac had a heart attack on Wednesday. Here is the message he sent me:

Whew! Yes, I had a heart attack Wednesday morning at work. But the local hospital did a great job of stabilizing me for the trip to a Savannah hospital. They put a stint in, and I feel much better. I'll be taking it easy for a week or so.

I'll be back later. Thanks for the concern!

He seems to be in good spirits and currently watching lots of Star Trek! He is also watching what he eats too! Instead of the typical breakfast at the store, it's egg beaters and decaf coffee! =)

Wow, I hadn't realized that, I will keep him in my thoughts.

Good morning, (for a few more minutes anyway)

I think I am falling apart, I woke up with another stiff neck this morning, to go with the pain in my back, I am guessing I need a new pillow at this point so hopefully that will fix this. Getting ready for a small get together with my in laws for a BBQ, my mother in law's mother passed away Thursday night, so we are going to spend time with them before they head up to Quebec.

Have a good day!

Oh my..
I can't believe our Bradmac had a heart attack!
Oh Brad.. Im glad you are doing better now.
I pray for you, and your family ♥

UGH ...Back pain AND neck pain !!! That just stinks !! I hope it goes away soon. I am sorry for your family's loss xoxo

Good afternoon....It's Sunday Funday! And I have the after-Christmas blues! Our CIJ party was so much fun! We had 32 participants in the white elephant exchange...what a riot! The hot items were wine (3 bottles - all seperate gifts), a "tiffany" lamp, homemade jalapeno pickles & peach salsa (I put in) & a ceramic fish that shows up every year. Those things went round & round. I think everybody had a good time! Lots of "good" gifts. Too funny! And our Christmas dinner was delicious!

I figured coming here would help lift my spirits. I am still at the lake, getting ready to put Christmas With The Kranks in the dvd player!

BRADMAC - wishing you a SPEEDY recovery!!! So glad you are doing well now!!!!

Hope you are all having a great day!

It looks like we are all here bowing.
I'm the third one on the left, front row.

I'm the short one in the back who can't see what is going on

I ended up reading the HP books because I bought them for my niece and nephew for Christmas one year only to have my sister say they couldn't read them because the school district banned them. I was grumbling about the whole banning issue to a friend who said I should read them, I would be pleasantly surprised. I was actually amazed ~ that first book was so good I had to read all the rest. I am even a member of EMU's Harry Potter Book Club and Reading Group, lol. Merry, I think you will really, really like them!
