Good Tuesday morning everyone!

Last day of July! Good riddance. Its been too hot. But they said the same thing about August on the radio this morning. Boo for August. Oh well, one more month till September and relief! On the weekend we went to Story Book Gardens and saw Scooby Doo and the gang! William loved it, aww heck so did I. Its sad to see all the animals missing from there. When I was little it was full of them, but as my Dad told me, it cant stay the same from when I was little. Strange thing is, they didn't have ANY Scooby Doo shirts or merchandise. Strange! I have been keeping my eye out for Christmas stuff in the stores, I have my ipod on hand just in case I need to snap a picture! Well back to work I go! Hope everyone has a great day! I hear Carl is blending a candy cane coffee for us coffee drinkers!

Good evening, Christmas family !!

Just got done working about an hour ago.......I don't want anyone here to panic but as I type I am in a major, major asthma attack.....I am used to them...I wanted to post here before I took my medicine......

Next Monday is my first day at the new job. Very honestly I am scared...but the only way out is through.........I went to mass yesterday and made sure to talk with our Heavenly Father about it and I know all here will pray......If I could also ask my fellow Catholic friends to say a couple of Hail Mary's for me...That would be fantastic !!!

The hawk never came back after that time when it circled us yesterday. I know they can be fierce and have sharp talons but I was in "mommy mode" so even if it would have attacked, it would have wished it didn't !! I would fight for my kids to my last breath.......speaking of which.......I will be back in a few !!

Ugh! Not much sleep last night. Bo was outside on the porch until a flash of lightning woke me up around 2 something in the a.m. I got him inside right before the thunder and the rain hit. I had to leave a light on for him and that bothered me so a restless night was had. It is going to be a long day, but I shall make it a MERRY one!

I think these are the one's that Snowflake was talking about. QVC must be out of the ones by westinghouse but HSN has a different brand.

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be another hot one with a high in middle 90's today. So that make a total of 28 days above 90 degree's in July. I hope that's a record we never challenge again in my lifetime. I don't have much going on today. I'll probably run out to my sister's house and see my niece before she starts school tomorrow and then I'll just kick back and watch some of the olympics. I also need to study the long range forecast. I'm supposed to leave for 2 weeks of camping in southern Indiana on monday but that may change into a short camping trip and then some day trips. Well I'm off. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing better than waking up to temps in the low 60's with a cool breeze then going down to the river and taking a dip in cold mountain water. It is going to be hard adjusting back to this heat here at home. Have a great day.

Good morning!
We just had a funeral here for a little crow baby.
It came here yesterday, looking for protection, I guess.
It's strange that birds seek out to us humans when they are injured.
Crying for help..

While many many other Crows was trying to kill him.
Why do they do that?

So the boys fed him, and took care of him all day.
Even after I thought they were sleeping, they were out to watch over the little crow.

They tried to hide him before they got to bed yesterday.
BUT our neighbours cat did find it...
So the boys are so sad, they fall in love with the little birdie..

Well, thats life I guess. A bird who cant fly, do not survive long.
I wish I could take him in, but who does that? LOL

So we had a funeral and the bird is now in heaven..
And I told the boys that the bird is so thankful and grateful for
that they tried to look after him. And that they cared. And Im sure he is...

I'm sending my oldest daughter (14) to Bulgaria today!
I have to deliver here at the airport in an hour.
A little bit anxious (I am) But I believe she will be fine...
She is travelling with my oldest sister and her son, my nephew.

They are staying for two weeks.
While my daughter is flying home after a week (alone)
She probably get to know some other kids/families who are travelling that day.
(my sister will follow her to the airport of course)
But she is still my little baby, and a mother always worries right?


So, what happens here? Any plans for the day?

I checked quick on my phone last night and saw that you were back and better.
One thing that really helped my daughter was to sit in the bathroom shower cutain pulled and shower on full blast and hot...filled the room with steam and made breathing easier for her quicker than just meds alone.
So glad you are feeling better!

Good morning, Christmas family

I am sitting here with my Hermione drinking my coffee. In just an hour I have to get on for work. All is in readiness for training tomorrow for the new job. It should take only an hour and then after that back to the old job for my regular shift.

I hope I am doing the right thing by leaving my old company. I have tried and tried and tried to get them to compromise and they just won't and I really don't want to be stuck working Noon to 9 p.m. Monday - Friday the rest of my life. I wonder if I am being unreasonable ? What if the new company doesn't have enough work ? Oh my. I am going to quit thinking about it and just go on with my plans..........

I have been looking for an Autumn siggy ....th one I have now is pretty but I think it is too small........So I guess I will be changing it !!

Everyone have a very, very Christmassy day !!

On the weekend we went to Story Book Gardens and saw Scooby Doo and the gang! William loved it, aww heck so did I. Its sad to see all the animals missing from there. When I was little it was full of them, but as my Dad told me, it cant stay the same from when I was little.

So glad to hear they closed the animal displays, always felt sorry for them in those wee spaces. The farm area was nice, lots of room for them to wander around. I remember the swan, alone in a very small cement area with a bit of muddy water to wade in. I think they will be much better off in a big zoo where there is good care and lots of space.
We went to Story book gardens often when I was a kid, took my kids there once (1998) when all the animals were still there.
Is the Merry go round still by the front entrance?
