Getting ready to head to the movies, one of our cats, Alex, got out last night we called and called him after he was outside for a few hours he finally came back. We thought we lost him, since he is such a scaredy cat. But he is home and boy was he glad to see us.

It has been an interesting nip and tuck race for the medals lead between the US and China all along.

Seemed a bit cooler here yesterday with somewhat lower humidity.
Would be a nice trend if it continues but I won't count on that!
Currently, I read 76.1 degrees on our back door digital thermometer here in the capital city.

Good morning, MMC friends! How are you all? I am well! DH was home briefly, then he to head back out. He has to teach this morning, but he hopes to be home around lunch time or a little after.

He came home with Dunkin Donuts, just what we all needed. I had a blueberry muffin donut, so out of the ones he picked, I think that was the best option, although, no donut is a good one!

Not much planned for today - rain is in the forecast, but we're hoping, that if it holds off long enough, that we can take the kids to a historical site here close to us and see the trains. I know both of them would like it. Other than that, nothing planned. I got my housework done yesterday, so it's SUNDAY, FUNDAY. The kids are both playing together now.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! We had a nasty storm roll through about 6am that woke everyone up. So the coffee has been flowing since then. At least we got almost an inch of rain. I'm not sure what's going on here today. I think we're headed downtown for a while and then it's going to be back home to rest before we head out tomorrow morning. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a membership with Netflix, it is great, but there is a delay from when things released on DVD until they can send it, I am still waiting for The Three Stooges to come available through Netflix.

Oh yeah, I know that's right! We had a Blockbuster membership for Wayne to get video games, we never used it for movies, but there was always a delay. He just cancelled it 2 days ago and might go back to Gamefly. They are more reliable but they don't have movies.

There is a way to stream it off your computer through Netflix where there is no wait. My daughter can hook the laptop up to her TV and watch anything asap. I guess that would be for new releases too? Not sure because I never used it.

Also, according to Time Warner Cable, you can watch any new movie right when it's released through On Demand. I use On Demand all the time but only the freebies. I guess it would be the same for other Cable companies.

A long time ago I use to get movies through the library and of course there is a wait list to be put on for new releases since it's free but that was always nice.

Hopefully you can find a way to get movies without waiting! =)

Well that was a fun day and now I'm off to bed to get ready for another one tomorrow. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!

I am enjoying every bit of the games! I tend to watch any event involving the USA even if it's a sport I would never find interest in at other times of the year. Heck, I would watch Tiddly Winks if the USA was competing in it.

As I was telling Trackrebel, I have to cover my computer screen when opening certain pages to not spoil the event announcing winners since it's tape delayed here.

Oh my goodness! Wayne and I are watching Batman with Adam West. Brings back memories, not of me watching it but my brother watching it. He loved that show! Wayne said he did too when he was a kid.

That was my FAVORITE show as a kid..........I really loved Batman, still do actually !! I think Christian Bale has been brilliant !!
