I love my Nook. I have both the older version and the new Nook Tablet. Others on here have a Kindle. I don't think you could go wrong with either.

My question of the week is: Should I buy the sony wifi ebook reader or the kindle? Problem is, I have a very old ebook reader (not kindle) and ebooks with epub format. As far as I see changing epub into mobi is kind of difficult. Right now I tend to the sony ebook reader. Because I don't want to be forced to buy the same books again in the kindle edition. But I have to buy a new ebook reader because my old one is using way to much power (because I bought one with lcd display instead of e-ink - just because that one was cheaper).
I like to read english ebooks and it isn't easy to buy them in europe, because many american ebook stores only sell them to american citizen. And most european stores don't sell english ebooks. So searching for my favourite autors ebooks is quite a challenge.

good morning y'all! is slow @ work so i'm off today. so much needs to be done around here, i don't know where to start.think i might go back to bed for a bit later.
the plumber had to come back yesterday to fix our problem & .....yowza! couldn't believe it when he said $1200.00 for the repair. ouch, that really hurt. had to make sure he would let me pay it in a few installments. all our $ is tied up in back to school right now. 2 in college & 1 in high school is very expensive too. this may indeed affect our Christmas this year. bummer! i was hoping to sign up for the exchange this year also!

Sounds like my house. EA is a horrible sleeper. She went to bed last night and 5 minutes later, she came to our room and said she had to use the bathroom. DH took her and then she wouldn't go back to bed. All she did was scream. Anytime I am room, she always wants to sleep in our bed. It's like a "treat" to her because I am home. DS on the other hand, is a wonderful sleeper. He usually sleeps at least 10-12 hours. The ped doctor says it's a phase she is going through - a lot of times, if she does sleep in her bed, she wakes up at 3 or 4 screaming, with a nightmare too, which the doctor said is typical for a 3 year-old. Hopefully she'll grow out of it soon!

My favorite are the Dunkin Donut ones (which I always go to the store and buy them.) If you google Dunkin Donut K Cups, you can find them on different sites. It doesn't look like they sell them on their website however.
I also love a lot of the Green Mountain coffee. A lot of places sell this coffee - Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Macy's, Kohl's - all the department stores - pretty much anywhere you buy the K cups.
for the AM I usually do three boxes of the Brekfast Blends.. for my mid afternoon, I do two boxes of Donut Shop.. For the evening,... I cut back and do just a box of the starbucks....

What kind of the Starbucks do you do? I know you really like coffee, so you're taste are probably different than mine, but the last time I bought for my Keurig I didn't like it. I think I got a breakfast blend and it was a medium roast. I usually drink all medium roasts though.
That's ironic, I had a plumber at my house as well yesterday! I had a pipe start leaking on me (can you believe it, my house is only 13 years old and I had a leak, sheessssh- I wasn't too happy about that). Well, I fixed the leak but found out that the pressure in my house was over 110 psi (way too high), it should never exceed 80 and normal is between 60-70. The main pressure reducing valve had failed and I cannot repair that. I was lucky that none of my pipes burst from so much pressure in them, so I had to call a plumber.
The plumber cost me 600.00 dollars, mannnn I'm in the wrong business, I believe it cost me 100.00 just for them to pull up at my house:-(...
Anyway there's my rant... In the end, it is now repaired and all's well that ends well.... get this, he calls me today and tells me he thinks that I should replace another valve and that it will only; "did you get that", (ONLY), cost me another 290.00 dollars!
oint:Hmmmm, I think I'll just make a trip to Lowes or Home Depot, that way I can save some money to spend it on my Honey...:thumbsup:
Good early afternoon, everyone! What's on everyone's agenda for the weekend? Nothing really for me here except work and for DH. He called me this morning and said he now has to work overtime now on Sunday. He is already working for someone else tomorrow, so he will be working 48 hours straight. Let's pray that it's not to busy for those guys!
Today, my mom and I are going out for lunch. I have to wait for a phone call from her, that she is done working for the day, then we're doing that. I think we're going to run to Hobby Lobby and AC Moore too. I want to check out their fall decor and possibly buy some things.
This evening, the movie Pocahontas is on Disney Jr., so I think we will that before I lay down for my nap. EA is really getting into the movie thing. :smile: Other than that, nothing is going on here!
