We just got through a tornado warning, camped out in the basement for a little while. We are in a tornado watch until 9pm tonight. News said there was a tornado or "circular motion" in Somers, Connecticut which is only 10 miles away from here. Other parts of CT has trees down.

Thanks! I've been keeping an eye on things since the tornado watch went up about 3:30. Checking the radar map every now and then. We've gotten some rain so far, but no thunder or lightning.

I'm glad yours had so much!!! Mine is way behind where they normally are at this time of year. They just started putting out the regular ornaments this morning and they would have been out by the middle of July. They don't even have their trees up yet.

Mine had all kinds of stuff. I couldn't get over it. The trees they had were nice, but I didn't look at the prices. I would like to get a new tree after this year, but will shop around I'm sure.

GYMNASTICS GYMNASTICS GYMNASTICS and SWIM SWIM SWIM for me. I love track and the rest of it too but those are my favorites. America got a lot of gold in those events! Germany is doing good too!

I am SO HAPPY right now !! As our own dear Meceka said "what a difference a day makes." Meceka, you were so RIGHT.

This morning I saw that there was work in the system so I typed four reports awaiting feedback. I felt kind of down and discouraged but at about 11 or so EST, I went in to check my feedback and there was an e-mail from the head boss telling me they ADDED an account to my profile !! Then a little while later they ADDED ANOTHER ONE !!!!!

Right around 2 this afternoon I got an e-mail from the head of QA stating I AM OFF QA !!!! I have been released and can now type as many reports as I want !!! I am so relieved I cannot tell you. Just maybe this is going to work after all. Thank GOD !! and thank all of you and your crossing of body parts and for your prayers for me...I am going to go back through the posts now but I just wanted to let you all know. I might just have made it !!

I was just in the planning stages, but next week it will be in full swing! Looking forward to the fun and excitement.
I will be baking all afternoon on Sunday..2 dozen chocolate cupcakes, 2 quick breads, 4 dozen muffins and a tray of rice krispie squares.

I feel so behind not getting here very often. The amount of chatter has gone up so much it is almost over whelming to wade through it all, but I so miss not being able to do so! And here it is 10:30 at night again.

But, I am thinking about you all especially when my phone rings as my ring tone is "We wish you a Merry Christmas"!
