Good morning everyone! IT's monday and the weekend has passed way too fast... it's the 4th day of the county schools and city schools school year. Brandi seems the like her classes so far. She loves what she teaches and I guess that it's great to have a job you love. Today is also the first day of Fall semester at the university here..I can tell because car horns are honking and it took me an hour to drive to work vs just 25 minutes.... it's kinda of good though to see everything get back to normal...it means Fall is just around the corner..some of you will get your cooler weather sooner than others(like me and Brad) but it IS coming.I would say in 6 to 9 weeks we should see a definate cool down were I live..but it'scoming!! I hope everyone has a great day!!!

The Closing Ceremony...or better party in London is excellent....I love every bit....even the Spice Girls....made me feel 15 again....and yes....I did like them back in the day....I just wouldn´t let most people know....because it didn´t fit with my love for Gangsta Rap....lol

I believe I have one of their CDs around here somewhere ~ some of their songs were rather catchy. I even watched part of their movie, but don't tell anyone :wink:

Good morning everyone,

I come to you this morning to start off your work week right. Thus, I bring you (pre-)Season's Greetings! How might I do this? Well, let me tell you. Yesterday, my mom and her husband took Kim and I to Costco to purchase a bunch of stuff. It was awfully graciuos of them. As we were coming to the end of an aisle, we noticed that some Christmas decorations and prodcuts were on display and for sale in the middle of the store. My mom and I were instantly drawn right to it. Kim and I ended up purchasing a beautiful snow globe can be switched on to have a light bring it to life with blowing snow surroudning Santa inside his sleigh. They also had ones with a Chrsitmas tree, Rudolph and Frosty. We cannot wait to have Santa's globe on display when the Season begins!

Enough talk. I won't leave you empty handed. Here are some pre-season/pre-Blossoms photos that I took with my blackberry. Not the best quality, but a fantastic reminder that the Blossoms thread will join us late next month courtesy of Crown.

Also, I can't forget... Sears is closing in the Rideau Centre. Sad times, considering that I have always made a point to visit their Christmas displays mid-to-late October. But, along with closing comes closing sales - and Christmas decorations for sale! Kim and I purchased about $50 of Christmas decor yesterday. The best part? It would have been about $100 (it says 30% off, but it was much more!) if it were not for the sale! Here are some pre-season images from Sears!

What a wonderful feeling!

Overall, it was a great weekend. My mom and her husband flew home last night. Spending time with them was great. It really flew by. I'm already excited to return home in less than a month and see them again!

Anyway, I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend! I'm very excited for our next Milestone tomorrow! Have a great Monday!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! I finally figured out how to make it rain, plan a camping trip. We had a light rain this morning and now we are watching the radar for what could be some severe storms this afternoon. If they head this way we will probably end up cutting our trip short again and heading home. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

My Keurig has been shipped! Merry Christmas to us!

Now for anyone who has one, what blend of coffee k-cups is your favorite? I have had the Donut Shop one at work and it's delish!

Donut House (not Donut Shop) is my favorite!!! :smile: (but I do like Donut Shop too...) I also like the Grn Mountain Breakfast Blend & the Nantucket Blend. Pumpkin Spice is delish too! That should be coming out again soon - if it's not already out!

Just came back from Target (my favoritest store!) aaaaand.....Holiday Barbie 2012 is out on display!!

And yes, it really does cost $40. No thanks! My total bill was a little bit less than half that!

I have purchased a Holiday Barbie every year since my daughter was born in 1994 and other various collector Barbies as well and they have never been opened. I have tucked them away in boxes in the attic and I told her that sometime in the future I will give them all to her and she can either hold onto them or sell them. Hopefully, one day they will be worth something and she can do with them what she wants to.

I also did the same thing for my son with the Hess Trucks that come out every Christmas. I have been saving them for him since 1992; they have never opened, and are still in the box....
