Brandi seems the like her classes so far. She loves what she teaches and I guess that it's great to have a job you love.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! I finally figured out how to make it rain, plan a camping trip. We had a light rain this morning and now we are watching the radar for what could be some severe storms this afternoon. If they head this way we will probably end up cutting our trip short again and heading home. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

I guess you better come down to Texas and camp, WE NEED RAIN! It rained like crazy just west of us last night and missed here!!!

Donut House (not Donut Shop) is my favorite!!! :smile: (but I do like Donut Shop too...) I also like the Grn Mountain Breakfast Blend & the Nantucket Blend. Pumpkin Spice is delish too! That should be coming out again soon - if it's not already out!

I just googled the Donut House and Donut Shop. To correct myself, I only tried Donut House and love it! I have not tried Donut Shop yet but it's in my K-Cup variety pack and will be trying it when my Keurig gets here.

Just that it is the second largest country in the world (after Russia)
But we flew over Canada (seemed like forever) when we were going to USA last year.

Good afternoon, everyone. Sorry I wasn't here yesterday. I was going to check in last evening, then I started to not feel very good. The stuff my kids, well about another after I went to lay down, I had it too. Thank goodness my sister was here and could watch the kids for me. God Bless her!

I am starting to feel better now. I've had some Gatorade so far and I think I am going to eat some soup here in a little bit.

Anyway, I will try to catch up on some of the posts here in a little bit. I want to keep trying to rest, since I head back to work tonight.

the olympics are almost done....today we spent time with my grandma at the anual suburbfest....called the Lampionfest....which translates to Lanternfest....around 3 we went there to decorate Kandice´s tree....around 4 - 4:30 the kids rode their bikes around the neighbourhood and all got some small small toys afterwards....cake and coffee and regular beverages have been sold.....after that the grill was started and steaks and bratwurst and fries were being sold and cocktails as well......at 9:15pm the kids all walked thru the neighbourhoods in the dark with their lanterns well lit....and got some candy from the people there....always like that since I guess 50 years....Kandice had a ball and loves it...tomorrow we goin there to have lunch and then...I dont know....just some chillaxin to do

[Holiday]

Well I have been reading all your posts & I have made it to Sunday!! I'm catching up!

I wanted to tell you all about our chilly weekend! Our friends had a party Friday night - we were going to sit around a bonfire & grill out. It was so cold & windy outside we didn't even light a fire. We sat inside their building with the garage door open. All girls were in sweatshirts. It was so cold with the door open, we had to close it!!!
Saturday we went to an outdoor wine tasting/jazz fest with the girls in my family. I wore a jacket all day! Then we drove by someone's house who was burning leaves & my sister said "Oh it smells like FALL" - then another sister says "look at the clouds in the sky...we have OCTOBER clouds in August"!
Sunday it was cooler again! I had a jacket on for awhile yesterday afternoon sitting outside. We took the convertible out last night & ended up with windows up & heater on! It's supposed to be 88 on Thursday but the rest of the week is 70's & low 80's! Could it be Fall is moving in already????

Good morning everyone,

I come to you this morning to start off your work week right. Thus, I bring you (pre-)Season's Greetings! How might I do this? Well, let me tell you. Yesterday, my mom and her husband took Kim and I to Costco to purchase a bunch of stuff. It was awfully graciuos of them. As we were coming to the end of an aisle, we noticed that some Christmas decorations and prodcuts were on display and for sale in the middle of the store. My mom and I were instantly drawn right to it. Kim and I ended up purchasing a beautiful snow globe can be switched on to have a light bring it to life with blowing snow surroudning Santa inside his sleigh. They also had ones with a Chrsitmas tree, Rudolph and Frosty. We cannot wait to have Santa's globe on display when the Season begins!

I have purchased a Holiday Barbie every year since my daughter was born in 1994 and other various collector Barbies as well and they have never been opened. I have tucked them away in boxes in the attic and I told her that sometime in the future I will give them all to her and she can either hold onto them or sell them. Hopefully, one day they will be worth something and she can do with them what she wants to.

I also did the same thing for my son with the Hess Trucks that come out every Christmas. I have been saving them for him since 1992; they have never opened, and are still in the box....

what a lovely idea! Your kids are going to love it one day!

Good Afternoon MMC!!!!!!! Wow, talk about a storm. It got nasty here last night. There was so much lighting that it looked like it was the middle of the afternoon for 3 hours. At least we get some more rain. I had some errands to run this morning and now I'm packing up to head out again tomorrow. We have decided to stay here until wednesday. It's a nice little campground and we know the owner so it should be fun. Plus they have free wifi so I don't have to mooch off of my friends this time. Well I'm to get caught up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay! Rain! Glad you stayed safe during the storms. The campground looks beautiful. And they have a pumpkin patch?! Cool!

Thanks also for the info on the card exchange. I am really considering it. I read all the information. As for as your address, do you use your home address or another one? I can't send my to work and I wasn't sure what P.O. Box address entails. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had trouble with giving out there address. I did see what they put there in the card exchange message. Everyone on here are such great people though...

Kandice has had her last day in Kindergarden today....there were tears.......Kandice, I and the care-takers....brigitte...who is the boss of the kindergarden, was already there when I was little...so I think she took Kandice in her heart even more because of that....so it was a hard good-bye...but the elementary school is right beside the Kindergarden....so she can always visit her first "school"

i tried to console her by saying that farewells are usually painfull...but always....almost always open doors to new great things......and going to the city park with a nice playground helped too....lol

Aww, I bet that was tough for her (and you) but so exciting at the same time!! Congrats to Kandice!

Good afternoon dear Christmas family !!!!!!!

I am SO HAPPY right now !! As our own dear Meceka said "what a difference a day makes." Meceka, you were so RIGHT.

This morning I saw that there was work in the system so I typed four reports awaiting feedback. I felt kind of down and discouraged but at about 11 or so EST, I went in to check my feedback and there was an e-mail from the head boss telling me they ADDED an account to my profile !! Then a little while later they ADDED ANOTHER ONE !!!!!

Right around 2 this afternoon I got an e-mail from the head of QA stating I AM OFF QA !!!! I have been released and can now type as many reports as I want !!! I am so relieved I cannot tell you. Just maybe this is going to work after all. Thank GOD !! and thank all of you and your crossing of body parts and for your prayers for me...I am going to go back through the posts now but I just wanted to let you all know. I might just have made it !!

Hey everyone! Just got back here about 45 minutes ago from lunch and shopping with my mom. We had a really nice time out.

AC Moore didn't have near the decor that Hobby Lobby did. I got 3 candles at AC Moore for fall/winter seasons, just because I knew they would be cheaper, then I got a fall garland for over my fireplace at Hobby Lobby - it was such a good deal. It was originally $60 and it was 40% off! I couldn't beat it.

Anyway, there was so much fall and Christmas decor at Hobby Lobby. I couldn't get over at how much Christmas decor they already had. Hobby Lobby wasn't in my neck of the woods last year, so when the season actually rolls around, I will be so excited!

Well, it's almost time for movie night and dinner. We're having grilled cheese and creamy tomato soup! Of course, popcorn will be the snack! I will stop back before I take my nap for work. Talk to you guys later on. Have a great evening.

folks...what up....all good over here....kandice is almost asleep....overly exited for her first day of school tomorrow...so one cant be mad her for net being able to sleep.......her schoolbag is packed....and her Schultüte as well....the Schultüte is a thing where the kids get presents inside because they start schooll.....toys and stuff like that.....hers is full to the limit.....well....tomorrow she gets spoiled rotten....Playmobil, bathtub bubbles that change the color of thw water, the Disney Movie Aristocats, Littlest Petshop animals.....and of course I wouldn´t be trackrebel if there wasn´t something christmassy in it....
I got the rudolph the rednosed reindeer game for the nintendo ds for her from a us ebay seller..........for just 12 euros....hilarous....I tested it already and it is working......so

oh by the way....she done great in her field hockey practise today......at first they did a relaylike race....she was the youngest and she ran against a 8 year old boy......of course....she was faster ......if You want to say it like that......She was the USAIN BOLT of the baby hockey team.....lol

evening guys,

watched another christmas film yesterday "the night they saved christmas" it was an old one, from 1984, i enjoyed it. can't wait to start watching my autumn movies which include when harry met sally, monster house, spooky buddies, and coraline. will start them in september.

i'm on weigh****chers at the minute, trying to lose a bit of weight, don't feel too comfortable in my skin at the minute, but it's hard because i love food soooo much! craving chocolate cakes, full english breakfasts, indian food, ice cream etc... going to be good for a while and see if i can lose the weight, then i'll allow myself these treats at the weekend.
