Look at the green player on the right-hand side of the Forums homepage, the one that streams MCR. It says "powered by radiotuna." They provide the embedded player for the MCR stream.

Okay, I didn't pay much attention to Issac yesterday but it looks like it's shifted back to the east again and is growing stronger.

It looks like Kimothy might get some of the outer bands and then everyone in the southeast will have to deal with it once it makes landfall.

Great night! The first week of school flew by, but it sure did leave it's mark. I have been soooooo tired. Last night, I went to sleep around 11 and slept in until 8:30....wow!

Things are starting to pop up all over related to Christmas. One of my favorites is this 100 days to Christmas website...new message everyday..and it's getting ready to start in a few weeks....think I'm going to cheat this year and buy the PDF. The anticipation is killing me!

Made, steaks/chicken/corn is marinating....I got the drinks (water, of course) on ice...BIL and wife are coming over....and I'm all set for the evening events. Hope your colts play good, but I won't know until I read about it because it's all Nascar and board games here...

On a sad note, I had one of the worst conversations I ever had with a kid yesterday. I don't think we stop and recognize how truly blessed we are....even with the struggles present in our life. I hope you have a great day...and enjoy.

One of my favorite parts of the Alastair Sim version is when he has been transformed and scares Mrs. Dilber half to death and then gives her a sizeable Christmas bonus........He had the most beautiful eyes.

Yes! I love when he gets her nearly calmed down on the steps, then starts her screaming again by messing up his hair. And his sincerity when he gives her the bonus. And his utter sincerity when he apologizes to Fred. Gotta see that at least once each year.

I don't know if the principal learned her lesson or not.When I went into my rant at the meeting with her, I am sure you could have heard me all the way in Massachusetts! I told her she had unmitigated gall!

I'm glad you gave her h***, Seawaters! She has it coming!

When I type LOL at the beginning of a sentence, I cannot get all caps, even when I use Caps Lock. Help, please?

Jeff has it set up that way. He doesn't want us yelling at each other.

It's not possible to type a post in all caps. If you put in a word or two of all caps in a sentence, it'll often go through. As an alternative to LOL, type : lol : without the spaces, and you'll get a laughing smilie like this: :lol:

I am not much of a fan of these trees they are showing right now.

I must sound really unpleasant/picky, lol. I feel like all I am doing is complaining about the items from last night and today! I don't know what has gotten into me - usually I love anything Christmas-related.

I think it's just because if the stuff looks cheapish, it seems like they're not giving Christmas the loving attention and respect it deserves.

And good morning to you! Hoping to find some merriment in the weekend. I'm trying to adapt an afghan pattern into a Christmas afghan ... not sure if I can make it work. It's a design issue rather than a color issue---trying to make a pattern of bobbles based on odd numbers work over an even number of stitches. Maybe I can find a way to fudge it ...

Spent most of an hour getting through all the posts! Gotta get going to an appointment up on the North Shore. Mr. will be home this evening, so I don't know if I'll be checking in. Otherwise I'd be rustling up some chatters tonight.
