A lovely morning here it is!
I get to make the first announcement for operation Christmas Child at our church this morning. Just putting the thought into everyone's head to start thinking about it. Also with all the back to school sales on it is a good time to start collecting items for the boxes.
With only 120 days until Christmas and only 42 days until we start collecting boxes I did not think it was too soon.
So I have my Christmas shirt on and am ready to go!

No, I would love a fence around my house or a gate, but we don't have one...lol. We do have an "invisible" fence for the dog though. Have you heard of those. I am sure you have with working in the vets office - we never even turn it on because she has done so well, with being trained.
Come on over and we can cook and bake together. I thought about baking some cupcakes today too. Thanks for offering to watch the kids! Haha
yes have seen them they give the dog a small shock if they go near them same a the barking coller ! and yes cupcakes please

TS Isaac is supposed to hit us around Tuesday so yesterday I stocked up on non-perishable foods for my dog and me (plus 24 pack of bottled water). I have to go back to the store to get a multivitamin that I forgot yesterday. And I'm feeling crappy. BOO!!!
On the plus side, yesterday I went and visited this great store called LifeWay Christian Store. I think I have a new favorite place!!
This morning while walking Missy, I noticed it felt a smidge cool out with little bits of wind blowing. YAY!!!

:lol: Who knows. Nascar still cracks me up. Everytime I do watch it, it's always entertaining.
I have not been on here since Friday night. A whole lot of chatting since then!
I went to bed super early last night and slept a whole lot. I better have some energy for today!
Right now I am sitting on the porch with the stray kitties and drinking some coffee. Not to worry, I have mosquito repellent on! I am not going to get that West Nile Virus!
I know a lot of you will laugh but we are enjoying the very mild temperatures here of only being in the lower 90's for the high! Everyone is talking about how nice it feels outside. I know that is way too hot for some but it has been great for us!
Coach, I haven't been following the Cowboys a whole lot yet. How are they looking to you? Do you think we might have a decent year?
I am going to try and catch up on a few post.

Yes, that's it. Like I said, we never use with her anymore. I wasn't very keen on getting it, but we have almost an acre of ground and DH didn't want to be a fence around our yard, since it would be expensive - we didn't want to do a cheap looking fence, so that was our only opition. They came and trained her and everything for us. Ella really does listen (99% of the time!)
As for the cupcakes, this cupcakes look wonderful! Those wouldn't be hard to decorate either! There are some I look at and think, I wouldn't be able to do that - ever. I would be able to do those though!

I have almost everything done I needed to do today, except for the cooking and baking of course! DS is sleeping - I can't believe it. I am enjoying this! :-D (Is that bad?!)

Good morning Christmas family !!
Just sitting here contemplating having another cup of coffee. Not much going on..Hermione is asleep beside me. You should all see her now......She is not that little baby we brought home in January any longer but she is is still my sweet little girl and the youngest !! She is completely black in color and her coat ranges from wavy to curly to straight all over !! She is not what you would think of when mentioning a half Bloodhound/ half Golden Retriever....!!! I don't know where the solid black coat comes from but it is pat of my Hermione and I could not love her more !!
Pretty badly aching joints today....The thing is (and it is weird) is that as far as ibuprofen or Tylenol or any drug like that ........I cannot take them by themselves because if I do I get severe asthma....if they are in something else I can tolerate them fine........Go figure that I would have yet another oddity !
I hope all have a great Sunday. I finally downloaded Opera and have Opera Turbo going right now as I cannot view YouTube videos here on site unless I use Opera. I don't know....Computers and browsers.....UGH. Have a great Christmassy day everyone xoxx

No, I couldn't get hubby talked into letting me buy the Jim Shore baskets. I still haven't got around to it yet, but I am buying my daughter a Disney princess tent for her play room. I am going to see to if there is anything else she or my son would like. I did see when looking at the Gooseberry Patch Facebook page (it's cookbooks), I love their recipes - they are having a big special today - during the Cooking with Dan show - you can got them online for same price, so I may purchase those too. We'll see if get those or not though - I have so many cookbooks and a couple of their's already on my iPhone and Nook.
