Pretty badly aching joints today....The thing is (and it is weird) is that as far as ibuprofen or Tylenol or any drug like that ........I cannot take them by themselves because if I do I get severe asthma....if they are in something else I can tolerate them fine........Go figure that I would have yet another oddity !

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee, enjoying the COOL WEATHER!!! It's in the 60's!!! I don't know why it's so cool in August, but I'm not asking any questions...I'm just gonna enjoy!

I'm trying a new coffee blend called Sumatra Mandheling. I think it's my new favorite.

Did someone say COFFEE?

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot day here in central Indy with a high near 90 degrees. I get to spend my day babysitting. My sister brought my niece's in around 9pm last night. So it looks like no church for me today. Maybe I'll take them to the park before it gets to hot. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lovely morning here it is!

I get to make the first announcement for operation Christmas Child at our church this morning. Just putting the thought into everyone's head to start thinking about it. Also with all the back to school sales on it is a good time to start collecting items for the boxes.
With only 120 days until Christmas and only 42 days until we start collecting boxes I did not think it was too soon.
So I have my Christmas shirt on and am ready to go!

You are right. Shellie made a good choice of cupcakes! I like the ones with the green M&Ms-looking decorations!

Yes, that's it. Like I said, we never use with her anymore. I wasn't very keen on getting it, but we have almost an acre of ground and DH didn't want to be a fence around our yard, since it would be expensive - we didn't want to do a cheap looking fence, so that was our only opition. They came and trained her and everything for us. Ella really does listen (99% of the time!)

As for the cupcakes, this cupcakes look wonderful! Those wouldn't be hard to decorate either! There are some I look at and think, I wouldn't be able to do that - ever. I would be able to do those though!

Good morning, Christmas friends. I am on my first cup of coffee. I had to give it up during chemo because it made me nauseous, but now I can handle a little at a time. During chemo, I could eat ice cream, even though I am lactose intolerant. Not sure if that will last! Hubby and I are going out to breakfast in a bit with his sister and BIL. Then it will be back home and a quick trip to the classroom. I have to make sure lesson plans are set aside for Tuesday when I return to the doctor to see about when the stitches can come out and to see the radiation oncologist for the first time. I cannot believe how much better I feel. I know that a lot of it has to do with the prayers and kind thoughts from my friends here at MMC. In addition, the "Myer's Cocktail" really delivered the extra energy I needed. I am truly amazed at how my body has reacted this time! SO, if any of you need an extra energy boost, PM me and I will let you know all I can. I am a firm believer now!!!

Well, I ended up making brownies. I looked in my cabinet and saw I had 3 boxes of brownies, so I made one box. I am going go make a brownies triffle and take that to work tonight. It was one of co-worker's birthday's on Friday and I missed it, so I am going to take that in for her and surprise her.

Coach, [/B]I haven't been following the Cowboys a whole lot yet. How are they looking to you? Do you think we might have a decent year?

Good question. Without going to in-depth, I'm worried about the depth at WR (Miles, Dez injury prone and Witten is in trouble, I'm afraid) as well as defense. As a group, they have improved, but they had so far to go. That's my short story...

As far as how do I think they will do this year, I think we will at least have something to be excited about on Sunday. There is a great chance we make the playoffs. To me, that keeps it exciting.

Good morning! Wow - the thread was quiet last evening, so it looks like I didn't miss too much after all. I wasn't feeling the greatest after dinner, plus I was tired, so I laid down and I seem to be feeling better now.

What is on everyone's agenda for today? Not much here - I will do the typical thing - do some housework and play with the kids. DH is working his second daylight and I go back to work tonight, so I will be ready for my nap tonight for sure! I've been up since he got up, so I will be tired tonight.

Going to make homemade chicken potpie for dinner - anyone want to stop by? There's always leftovers!

Well, I am off to read the rest of the boards. I'll be here with my coffee waiting for you all!

On the plus side, yesterday I went and visited this great store called LifeWay Christian Store. I think I have a new favorite place!!

I know a lot of you will laugh but we are enjoying the very mild temperatures here of only being in the lower 90's for the high! Everyone is talking about how nice it feels outside. I know that is way too hot for some but it has been great for us!

Just sitting here contemplating having another cup of coffee. Not much going on..Hermione is asleep beside me. You should all see her now......She is not that little baby we brought home in January any longer but she is is still my sweet little girl and the youngest !! She is completely black in color and her coat ranges from wavy to curly to straight all over !! She is not what you would think of when mentioning a half Bloodhound/ half Golden Retriever....!!! I don't know where the solid black coat comes from but it is pat of my Hermione and I could not love her more !!

Sitting here drinking coffee and reading through the boards. Here in about an hour, I'm going to make our a list of items I need and people I need to buy for and begin searching the internet. It's almost September, there are 120 days left, and we better get busy!

Fall is in the air. It was nice and cool this morning here around 6:00, but I got back in bed and slept a little longer. Very rarely do I sleep in, but 9:00 sure was nice.
