Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another hot day here in central Indy but it looks like it will cool down this weekend. Of course it's going to be pouring down rain too. That's fine with me though. We need it. I am exhausted today. It seemed like everytime I went to sleep last night the fire department would show up and wake me up. The first time was for a lady across the street and the second time it was for my nieghbor's daughter. Apperantly she had been throwing up blood all day and not told her dad. She's been in pretty rough shape lately so she really didn't need any other problems. I haven't seen my neighbor this morning so I don't know what they figured out. Hopefully it wasn't real bad. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

hey y'all! had my procedure on my leg today. doc said he doesn't think he will have to remove anymore after this. all went smoothly. should hear something back in the next week or so. hubby was checked out too & doc said he's good to go but froze a sunspot off & removed another something. anyhoo....
leg starting to throb a little now but i promise i'll be backl more tomorrow. good night y'all!

Thanks for praying for my neighbor everyone. I just talked to her dad and they did scope today but couldn't figure out where she was bleeding from. So they are keeping her again tonight to and will run more tests tomorrow.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I sat at my mom's house for 4 hours yesterday waiting on the Dish Network guys to come install the equipment. They say you have to be available from noon till 5pm. At 6:15pm they finally called to say they were running late, and would arrive at 9:15PM! We told them no, they'll just have to bump someone else and come tomorrow. Now, you know they knew they were going to be that late by mid-afternoon. They could have called us much earlier to tell us so we didn't have to sit there and wait. Grrrr.

On a bright note, my daughter auditioned and got a part in The Nutcracker Ballet that Georgia Southern University puts on every year! She is so happy! Her best friend got a part, too, so they are tickled to death...LOL! I've never seen a Nutcracker, so this will be a good excuse to go. Of course, it also means she has to be in Statesboro for practice every Saturday and Wednesday through half of September, and all of October and November. Oh well, it makes her happy, and that's what counts.

Good morning, Christmas friends. Three of the surrounding counties have been declared disaster areas due to the fires that have been burning lately. The smoke really affected a lot of people, in addition to the monetary damage. Hopefully, things will begin to calm down before we enter the real fire season! Have a great day, everyone!

How awful ~ I pray things calm down, too, and that the air clears. The poor animals, my heart goes out to them as do my prayers!

We dealt with Dish Network a few years ago, they had the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. It is only company I actually got upset enough to yell at someone over the phone.

I'm sorry you and Bradmac had such a problem with them. When I had Dish Network I had excellent customer service both from the installers who arrived within the window of time they were scheduled to be at my house to the phone reps who helped whenever I had a question. If I watched television on a consistent basis and could afford the package that has the channels I like, I would still be with them. Right now I am enjoying the free previews they provide on a regular basis ~ can't beat that deal cheesy

It was an absolutely gorgeous day out today ~ I ran errands and went to a bunch of thrift stores and a garage sale. Found a few good things for the store so that makes the trip well worth while.

I bought Bo a bright blue collar ~ he is so proud of it! I must say he looks rather spiffy, too! cheesy

Well, lots of things to do yet tonight, including a few more hours of work.

Gotta love the smell of "dairy air" my high school was right next to a turkey farm, the smell during certain times of the year was unbearable.

Still have that "dairy air" around these parts sometimes..being that I live in Ohio and there is lots of farm land !! P-U !!

Boy, I feel I have been pretty anti-social the last few days, just haven't had the time to write to much.
Today was a rough day, I had my monthly inventory, and my inventory "prodigy" called out the last few days because he pulled a muscle pretty badly, I hope he is okay now, he usually gets the freezer ready for counting but I had to take a few hours to do that, and all the other little things that I have to do to prep. 10am came and I thought I was going to be there until 5-6pm tonight I was so far behind at that point. I just worked as quick as I could and I finished at 3:15. I am beat but I got the inventory 100% done.
Came home and watched a very funny movie, "The Dictator" it is one of those movies that gets you with shock value but that is my sense of humor.

I am up a little late but it is my day off, and JP's last day of summer vacation, he will be helping me with yard work, he doesn't know that yet but he will be surprised.

Good day before Pinesday morning to all!

Fall is in the air today. You can smell it! Its coming and fast. I cant wait! September 23rd my halloween stuff comes out. This weekend we are going to visit Dad. Should be fun. Not much is new. Looks like my new phone number is very close to some teenage girls number. I get strange random text messages with such short form words that I have a hard time understanding it. But its for some teenage girl. I keep telling them I'm not her and they have the wrong number. OH well! Question. Since I cant get the cookbook mailed to me here in Canada (Border issues), can someone scan in the page with my Grandpas Nuts and Bolts mix for me? I really really want to see what it looks like!

Several posts earlier were devoted to what our world is coming to. I think the inactions of the police in this matter is indicative of that. It really got under my skin, too, Coach. How in the world could a parent allow his or her child do this? What kind of homelife precipated this? Teachers seem to be held liable for a lot, and parents not so much. Just my early-morning rant!

I agree !! The thing is, that if this 17-year-old is doing this to ANIMALS, he/she will most probably move on to people.......If this hasn't happened already....Also, while I am a believer in God, I do not think being an atheist/agnostic precipitates this kind of behavior....I personally feel everything is better WITH God but I have known very peaceful and kind souls who did not believe and they would never have thought of inflicting violence on innocent creatures....Putting a value on the life of living beings comes from and should come from responsibilities of the PARENTS......not teachers. Okay, now MY rant is over xoxoxo

I know she is just a little girl but when I saw her picture on your Facebook page in her ballerina attire, I thought what a beautiful young lady...She should be in the Nutcracker !! woke this morning to my leg itching like mad & when i put my foot down to get out of bed, it felt like lead around the incision.

UGH !! I hate itchy skin (I have psoriasis and talk about itching !!) I hope it calms down soon for you !! xo
