I'm actually excited for football this year, my Bengals look to be an exciting young team with the "Red Rifle" and AJ Green. I have to wait a long week from tonight for their first game.

Busy day at the job today, had a list of things a mile long to do, but they will get finished up Wednesday. My yearly checkup is tomorrow morning, my dr. will be on my case about the weight I put on during my down time with my foot injury back in the winter. I haven't really tried to lose it since then. I feel great though so I think it will go well. I may go to Goodwill check out their selection of Christmas goods and books.(Non Christmas included) I may try to go to the DVD trade store and see what they have in stock also.
This baseball season for the Red Sox must mercifully come to an end, this team seems like it has quit.

Wait a minute, it is tomorrow! 12:11 here which means I can now offically celebrate that I am another year older. Birthdays are good for you, the more you have the longer you live!

Just up to see hubby off to work. I think I will catch a couple more winks before I get on to work myself.
Foot/toe is EXCRUCIATING this morning. In fact, I can't bear weight on my left foot. I am planning on calling my doc later today to see when I can get in. I doubt there is much he can or will do but nevertheless, I will ask. If my toe even bends just a little is it like someone sticking a knife right through it.
Anyway, I just wanted to stop by. It is onlh 6 a.m. and ALREADY 72 degrees here. Good Grief. That's NOT Fall weather. I hope the stupid heat will be outta here soon.
I hope everyone has a very Christmassy and magical day xoxo

Its been sooo long i cant believe it!, i have had such a busy summer with work, with a new baby, with weddings, with travelling but im glad to be finally settled and focused on one thing only... Christmas!
I can't wait, as soon as September comes round the countdown really begins for me.
I hope everyone had a great summer and a look forward to really getting involved with the community in the next few months.
ps. It's one of the best days we have had here this year, think we are having an indian summer in Northern Ireland!

i head to my family doc today for a routine check of meds & stuff. i was suppose to go to my dermatologist to have my stitches removed but that's like 60 miles away so i'm gonna ask my doc today to remove them. the receptionist said he would not have time but i'm hoping w/ me being there i can talk him into it. also gonna see if he can give me something for this mess i got from my daughter. feeling terrible again this a.m.
my hubby gotta letter from the dermatologist on saturday that said all his skin stuff came back ok. i wonder why i didn't get a letter too. i sure hope nothing else is wrong.
cm3 i hope you get relief from the pain of your toe.

Hello once again, Christmas Friends. It's good to be back.
Everything was swell at the beach (pun intended) and the cottage came through the rental season unscathed.
(We actually have a great bunch of regular renters who come back year after year and take quite good care of the place.)
Speaking of "take quite good care", that's just what Christmasstar did with the count while I was away.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
It was a long, busy weekend, but we had fun. I worked all day Saturday at Bernie's store...ok, not a lot of fun in that. Sunday, after church, we went to Jekyll Island & met a photographer who took our family photos on the beach. The kids had a great time (after the photo shoot!). Yesterday was a long hunting day for Jacob & me. At lunch, all of the family came over for burgers and swimming. It was a pretty good weekend!

Sore feet are no fun, makes it hard to enjoy anything. Mine is on the mend, only hurts when I have to wear shoes! Would be nice if I could go barefoot to work LOL.

Good morning, MMC! Happy Tuesday! It sure feels like Monday, though, doesn't it?
This was a long and busy past few days for me. On Saturday I spent the entire day working on homework, quizzes, and taking notes for my classes. I wanted to get that done and out of the way so I could enjoy my long weekend. I got interrupted when a few storms and high winds came in. We lost power for about an hour or so, so I had to sit around doing nothing. On Sunday I ran a few errands with my mom, then helped her prepare side dishes for dinner. We grilled out and had a nice remainder of the evening relaxing. Yesterday was another hectic day in terms of work and school work. I guess I'll never be totally caught up with school, there's always another assignment!
I have class this morning and then I will come home and catch up on what I've missed since Thurs or Fri.
