Dr.'s check up went well, just have to wait for my cholesterol test to come back. My side excursion to the DVD trade shop was fruitful, I traded for Bad Santa, and a Benny Hill DVD. Goodwill has some good stuff, the Christmas stuff looked nice but nothing that jumped out at me. They did have a copy of the book Miracle on 34th Street and an ornament that I could get cheaper on Ebay or Amazon. I did pick up the book Jaws, and Beast for $.50 so I didn't come away empty handed.

The remnants of Isaac should be arriving soon.

You would be an excellent shop owner ~ customer service is what makes repeat business and I know you would go out of your way to please all of your customers. Just remember to always buy at least two of every item so you could have one and you would be all set cheesy

That's funny that we didn't have any remnants from Isaac! I wonder why? LOL

Good afternoon, MMC!

It rained most of the morning ~ remnants of Isaac finally hit here. I'm not complaining as we really needed the rain ~ the garden is happy and I'm sure my pole beans will thrive now! However, I did have to rearrange my schedule. No moving furniture in downpours for me! Now that is set for Thursday. Tomorrow there is a chance for thunderstorms ~ 75 percent chance, in fact, so I will be staying home with the fur kids and working. The sun is out now and it is really muggy out ~ yuck! I have to get a few things done around the house and then I have to log into work for a few hours.

Good afternoon, MMC! How is everyone? I am well. Just spending time with the kids, as DH is working tonight.

EA had her first day of preschool and she loved it - thank goodness! The teacher said she is young for the class, but did wonderful. She couldn't get over how well behaved she was and that at her age she is doing all the things she is. (I sound like I am bragging, I know!) I am just a proud mom!

How was everyone's day? Hope it was great! Anything new? Nothing new here!

Just waiting for my sister to get here and I think we will go out for dinner tonight. I think I will treat EA for doing so great today.

Greetings friends! It's been awhile so I wanted to stop by and say hello. So nice to get caught up on all the excitement. I have had an amazingly busy summer. My son was here from Montreal for a few weeks in August. We had such a great visit. It gets harder and harder to seperate at the airport. Have a great rest of the week everyone.

I went to bed and opened a new book. Now, I am so "scared" that I cannot sleep. Hubby is out of town, and the book (Zoo by James Patterson) is downright creepy! Now I am wide awake, and I have a feeling it will be a while before I get sleepy again!!!
