HAPPY PINES DAY!!!! Good morning! I'm not even going to try to catch up on everything I've missed since 8/30, but I hope everyone is doing well!!! Hard to believe it's Pines day already! Gotta love these short weeks!!!!
The weathermen are saying we will have a HIGH of 69º on Saturday!! 90º today, so what a change!!!!!

Greetings friends! It's been awhile so I wanted to stop by and say hello. So nice to get caught up on all the excitement. I have had an amazingly busy summer. My son was here from Montreal for a few weeks in August. We had such a great visit. It gets harder and harder to seperate at the airport. Have a great rest of the week everyone.

Here we are Wednesday again, that means the Pines and me working late. :-o We had a deluge right at the time I had to bring the boys to school, so we all got soaked even with an umbrella and we got some minor basement flooding. The sun is out now, such strange weather lately. Just watching "I'll Be Home For Christmas" before work, just needed something Christmassy before going to the "fun house."

I hate to say this, but after the principal tried to find out info about me from my doctor, I hope your doctor does not give out that info unless he calls you himself or unless he is positive that it is you!!! It is scary what people (who really have nothing to do with your case) think they are entitled to!

Today is my son's birthday. How can he be 15 years old?!? It seems like it was yesterday. I wish he were still small enough for me to walk around with on my shoulders, but times change. I'm very proud of the young man he's growing to be, though. He's a good boy.

We're having hotwings and pizza tonight for him...his favorite! More turkey for me. :lol:

I'm here ... I've been flat-out with a virus since Sunday. It's a super-cold with headaches and fatigue and other TMI "delights." The symptoms are getting out of my system, but I'm still wobbly. They've got a temp covering for me at the office, and I'm planning to go back to work Friday.

well i've been to the doc. have a respiratory infection. got my stitches out as well. got a call from the dermatologist office & everything is fine. they did remove it all & i'm good to go. son is gonna pick up my rx's on his way home from class tonight. will miss a few days of work, doc says this is very contagious. my son picked up my cup the other day thinking it was his & drank from it...he feels sinussy now. uhoh.


got the news of 1 of my clients daughter's passing away. boss called & said she came in looking for me. her daughter was just 44 & fell & bumped her head on saturday. sunday the family saw her mouth ( i assume was badly cut or something) & took her to the ER. the mom set her clock for 6a.m. monday morning to check on her & found her dead. this lady has really been through it too. she has bad health herself. her daughter had back issues but was very fit & active. please pray for my Miss Juanita & her family.

then later boss called to tell me of another person who passed. had not seen or heard from him in years but @ 1 time we hung out together. he must have been sick but i didn't even know.

feeling a bit melancholy this evening. ya'll take care & i'll talk atcha later.

I hope you are feeling better. Sorry to hear about all the bad news you rec'd. Praying for you & the families involved.

I went to bed and opened a new book. Now, I am so "scared" that I cannot sleep. Hubby is out of town, and the book (Zoo by James Patterson) is downright creepy! Now I am wide awake, and I have a feeling it will be a while before I get sleepy again!!!

I try not to read scary books when my hubby isn't home b/c I would be like you! Wide awake & paranoid, hearing every little sound. Glad to hear that is a creepy book though if I'm ever in the mood for one like that!

for a month now. They found here yesterday - murdered.
It's terrible. Two men are arrested (age 37 and 64(!))
Poor girl.. Are not looking forward to hear what happened to her...
