Good morning everyone,
It's Thursday. We're one day away from the weekend. And, as Crown mentioned, we are only two months away from the first day of the Christmas Season! It's hard to believe that the magical feeling we share throughout the entire year will be felt by the entire world in just two short months. I can't wait! Until then, however, I will do my best to keep enjoying everything and paying close attention to sights and sounds of the nearing Season.
Last night was enjoyable. I had a decent but long workout at the gym. Somehow, I was there for two hours. Since I'm injured, I have a long(er) routine than normal. The good news? For the first time in about a week or so, my knee feels great. It's been a little stiff for the past few days, but I seem to have found that digging a lacrosse ball into my upper knee/lower quad rubs out a bunch of knots and gunk. It's painful, but if it allows for progress like this, I'll take it... and do it every day! With that said, I have a physio appointment tonight. I'm hoping for good news. Perhaps, running by the start of October? Now, that would be excellent!
Other than the gym, Kim and I watched The X-Factor last night. I normally don't like those shows, but it was enjoyable. Still, I will probably only watch the first one or two. Singing shows are not my thing. Kim also went back to Cornwall last night. She has to prepare for her sister's wedding on Saturday. I'll be joining her tomorrow night. It should be a good time.
Well, I should get to work. I hope everyone has a great Thursday! The weekend is almost here...!
