RIP Andy Williams. Most Wonderful Time of the Year is one of the most recognized secular Christmas songs in history. Today is a sad day for Christmas music lovers.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. A day off to watch movies will hopefully make you feel better!! I started my crock pot cooking a couple weeks ago. LOVE IT! Tonight we are having "Herbed Chicken" in the crock pot. Can't wait to try it...again...a new recipe!!!

That sounds so good ... would you share the recipe?

here is a bowl of chicken soup to help you feel better

That's so familiar---it HAS to be Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. Having the saltines on the side is the perfect lunch when you're under the weather.

.....Call it wishful thinking, but I'm wondering if there is a better way to celebrate 'Pines Day than the launch of the Christmas Blossoms thread?! I guess that we can only hope that "A Christmas To Remember" has officially opened its doors for the Season. No pressure, Crown. You know, I'm just real excited for this!.....
Well, wait no longer my friend.
It's up!!
(It was Carl's ideal to go ahead with it -- and a good one. Thanks, Carl!)

Thank you again, Crown! I'm more than thrilled to see Blossoms thread officially launched for 2012!

wow....only 89 days til the big day....hard to believe how fast time is running when July is over...that is how it appears to me....the days are only half as long after July 31st

Good afternoon everyone! You know the weather's getting colder when I'm laying in bed with a stuffy nose and a sore throat.
Hope you all are doing better than I am!

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. That seems to be going around. I hope that bowl of chicken noodle soup helps you feel better!

Hey, guys!

Sorry I haven't been around today. It's been a little crazy here at work.

I hope y'all have had a great day so far! cheesy

well, it has rained non stop for 3 days in my neck of the woods. it's cold, wet and very miserable...but, there's nothing better than being all snug and cosy at home once it goes dark and the weather is like this outside.

going to do a little search for christmas recipes i think, nothing wrong with a bit of forward planning cheesy

i've noticed the shops have started putting out christmas stock, and once halloween is out of the way everywhere will go into full on christmas mode. just LOVE, LOVE LOVE this time of year, it's so exciting! :???:

Sure! We have not eaten yet, so I can't tell you if it's any good. It smells good!!

Wow so sad to see the news Andy Williams died today. But good thing on the news they did a melody of his Christmas music.

I was very saddened by this. I will always see Andy Williams in my mind's eye as a handsome, young charismatic singer who helped make my image of Christmas as a child what it is today. I will always here "Most Wonderful Time of The Year" and think of Mr. Williams xo

Matthew 24:36
“No one knows when that day or time will be. The Son and the angels in heaven don’t know when it will be. Only the Father knows.

In other words, do not belive anyone who tries to tell you they know when the end will come, they do not.

Thank you Star !! I love that verse in the Bible. I never really have believed anything about the Mayan (spelling ??) calendar being true at all. I figure we will all be being bombarded by stuff about it right before Christmas !! xoxo

Agreed. He was my favorite living Christmas singer.
