Getting ready to head out to take the kids to see Hotel Transylvania, they are looking forward to that movie. Then we will get home and decorate for Halloween. It's a Halloweenie type of day!!!

Good morning, everyone! How are you all? I am well. Just reading this morning posts and then I am going to get a few things done here.

What has everyone been up to this weekend? DH is teaching this morning, but when he gets home, if the weather holds up, we're going to take the kids to a local amusesment park to ride the rides, plus they have a fall festival going on there. It's beautiful out right now, but it's supposed to be a 30-40% of rain and thunderstorms later on this afternoon. I doubt we will go, but we will see.

Here in a little bit, I am going to make pumpkin muffins with cream cheese in the middle of them (MMMM!) and then chicken noodle soup in the crock pot for dinner. I can't wait for dinner time to roll around!

I go back to work tonight and am not off until Thursday. Last week was a rough week - hopefully this week will be better! Keeping my fingers crossed. Well, off to do some things. DS is down for nap - it's easier to get things done when children are napping, as most of you know!

Gosh, 44 days til the season....isn't it amazing? It seems like yesterday there was 100 days...

I love the feeling that I get when I come here, especially this time of year.

It's a nice breezy morning here....I'm cooking chicken nachos for the wifey...she's studying for a huge test tomorrow...and then only 2 more tests before starts her last rotation of clinicals, then she will be called Dr. I'm so proud of that girl.

Well, I'm off...I've got to read the rest of the boards, set my fantasy football lineup, do some reading on Nascar, and then I'm going to clean the house. I got my yard all cleaned up and prepared for Winter, so now I need to start paying attention to the house and getting it ready for the Holidays....

I can't believe I just said I need to start getting the house ready for Holidays....awesome!

Congrats to your wife! You are so good to take care of her while she studies. My husband did the same when I worked on my master's and when I started my doctorate. Support like that really helps!

Was home last night at 8 frm wedding was a ok day did not stay for dance i had the car with me but dont no just wanted to come home. and was sleeping by 9.30
And was woke by scooby barking at 6.40
The weather is cool maybe cold i have not been out yet temps are 5c and the leaves are coming of the tree,s
Just something made said . about apples and cooking.. you guys seem to do a lot of baking. over there lots of ppl used to but now with bakery,s and nearly all the shops have there own bakery that it has stopped a good bit. lots of ones say it cheaper to buy it anyway.
O sister in law is home ( the one that left my brother) she moving back to the town. the other night she got drunk and landed to brothers house. he wood not let her in . she phoned the police. she thinks cause shes back she can just walk into the house again .

Am going to the garden centre a walk today as someone told me they have there christmas stuff out and i need lights and lots of them. as i have bought a sants,s grotto.well more like a house/cabin made from wood and need lights for the outside of it. and i need lights for my tree.. mm come to think of it i need a tree as well
Monday starts another busy week for me, clothing tomorrow and wednesday, 2 house hold on tuesday and toys on friday

A dull Sunday unpacking boxes is ahead for us. Ahh well the sooner we get unpacked the sooner things will feel a bit more homely. Tomorrow is October though so that's a cheery thought.

Can't believe Oct is tomorrow!!

It's been a busy end of summer and fall is quite busy.
With my brother having their 2nd child in late Aug and my sister getting married in late Oct, It has not hit me how fast the weeks are flying by and here we are, 12 weeks to Xmas eve tomorrow and it's Oct 1st!!

I did notice a few stores already had some Xmas decorations on the shelves but it's been such a busy last few months and will continue to be this month.

Looking forward to the Xmas season once again. Especially with new babies in the family.
Seeing their eyes light up is always great.

I can't believe tomorrow is October, either. Time has been flying! New babies to celebrate the holidays are awesome - there is nothing better than getting kids into the Christmas spirit!

Good morning, MMC!

A lovely day on tap here in mid-Michigan. The deer are out munching on the willow tree in the backyard ~ I wish they had munched it down when it was first planted, though ~ it is a mess to deal with and blocks the view back to the pond trail. The squirrels and chipmunks love playing in it, though, so it stays until it gets knocked down in a windstorm or struck by a bolt of lightning. That did happen a few years ago ~ scary! I'm glad Bo was in the house at the time!

I hope to get work done early so that I can take my camera out and get some fall color shots. I might have to wait until late Tuesday or Wednesday though, as I have so much to get done in the next few days. The start of a new month is always busy at the store with rearranging the old merchandise and adding the new . . . and dusting, dusting and more dusting! I still have a few things to get ready for tomorrow and there are more tomatoes to process, too. That being said, I have to get busy.

I won't even lie - that movie looked adorable and I would love to see it. I can't remember the last time that I saw an animated movie, but it looks so good! Plus, I know it would put me in a great mood. Have fun!

I hope it doesn't storm, but it looks like it is going to here, too. The sky is dark and we already had a downpour this morning. The chicken noodle soup sounds delicious, it is one of my favorites. Hope your week is better than last week, have a good day!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high in the mid 60's. The forecast for the rest of the week is all over the place. Some channels are saying that we may hit 80 degree's on thursday and some have that dreaded "S" word in the forecast next weekend. Crazy. At least it won't be as hot as it was last year for our town's big fall festival. In fact, we may have to wear winter coats. The Colts have a bye this week, so most of my day will be spent on racing. Then maybe some football tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am disappointed the Steelers have their bye week too. I guess I will just have to watch the other teams play! Enjoy watching racing!

She sure has. and yes my brother ended up letting her in she was full drunk. he said to shut her up . the police came he explained what happened. and he said any more bother and he could take out a order for her to stay away from the house. but she was at it last night. which ended in a row with the daughter and son.. my brother needs to "man up " as they say over here..

I'm feeling a lot better. I'm still a bit congested, but I no longer have a fever so that's good. It's starting to look and feel like Fall! The leaves are changing colors and the weather is getting cooler. I'm ready to skip Halloween and go straight to Thanksgiving!

hi everyone . hows your sunday going

Well went to garden centre and YES they had a load of christmas stuff out so i bought a big set of lights for my christmas tree 320 led. nice white ones.which had 25 % off and a orament
BUT was going round to pay and omg i saw this large reindeer so i had to go and find someone to ask the price. its was £550 but hell is so big and stunning so real like i looked round for the owner as i grew up with him to see his best price . but its a indoor one so it cant go outside~{ so am wondering is it worth it. as i wood not want to put it away and i wood not have room to keep it out all year as i have a fairly big one i keep out soooo am thinking !!!
Just went to friends for dinner he has a coffee shop well he texted me to say to come up and check his blood presure as he is having problems with it. think its the stress of running his own business no one realises how hard it can be.
The rest of the day am gonna chill have the fire lit so thats my day so far
hope your all enjoying your day so far. remember tomorrow is monday . and the 1st of oct lol

I checked our weekly forecast and they are showing highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s starting at the end of the week ~ brrrr! I'm going to have to do a lot of work in the garden in the next few days ~ the zucchini is really starting to produce and I don't want any of it to go to waste.
