I have to work on Monday, but these Massachusetts laws require me to get paid time and a half for working it. So it will be worth it. cheesy
Thanksgiving weekend coming up in Canada.
We are getting together on Monday at my brothers place. I get to make the turkey this year.
Is there a big parade for the Canadian Thanksgiving?

Yes it does, I plan on trying to make a turkey breast like I make my recipe for The Best Whole Chicken In A Crock Pot. Just change a few spices and I imagine it will be very yummy and juicy like the chicken.

oh jennifer, bless your heart. is there any way you could get to a doc? me, my daughter, & hubby all had this stuff last month & it sounds just like what you have. we all had to have antibiotics. i'm not trying to be pessimistic but maybe it's not only a cold doll! take care!

If this doesn't get better over the weekend, I think I will have my mom take me to the doctor on Monday. I have only had it since Sunday night so that means it is only three days to now. Sometimes my colds last me around ten days or so. I think I will know by then if it is getting worse or improving. Hopefully I won't need antibiotics! I am glad all three of you are better from last month. I hate how illnesses spread through families!! Thanks for your kind comments and you only expressed concern, not pessimism :]
On a side note - does anyone know if it is normal to get a swollen lymph node with colds?

Unfortunately, we have to pay for all our tournaments ourselves. The flight is $330 (round trip), plus accommodations and everything could set me back a little bit, but it will be a great time. I can do nothing but look forward to it!

Nothing beats the red and green. It brings a great smile to my face. The temperatures are very comfortable. I really enjoy this weather, although Florida will be a nice warm change for one final time this year. I'll try not too work too hard! You too!!

I actually picked up a medicine that had a suppressant and an expectorant in it, so we'll see how this goes. I COMPLETELY forgot to pick up honey at the store, I'm so upset! I didn't realize this til I read this post, so maybe I'll stop at the store tomorrow and get some. Thanks for all the great advice!
I have gone through so many liquids the last week and a half...juices, teas, water, you name it! Nothing is seeming to work. Hopefully something will soon! I have never heard of Delsym...what is it, exactly? I LOVE Chopped! I got into it because of my mom (she loves pretty much anything on the Food Network!) and even though I'm no cook, I love watching it! Maybe one day I'll be that creative. =) Who do you like on Project Runway this season? I am hoping for a Melissa/Christopher/Dmitry finale!
