Have you had the deep fried Milky Way before? I would love to try it!

Oh yes. I have them every year. They are heavenly. Now if this rain would just go away.

It's a frightening and exhausting time for all of you. Bless his heart, I pray he and your family can find peace through this.

Sorry to hear that. It can be so hard, and even when your not there I guess you still are thinking. So it's sore mentally and physical as well. Hopefully he will get a chance to relax a bit somehow,

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I feel pretty useless, because all I can really do is be there when Mr. needs me; but he tells me that's doing plenty.

Well, then, I just have to tell you that I have something in the works for you. I KNOW that you are going to be SO surprised! It will take me a few weeks to finish it up. I bought the materials early this summer and am just now getting around to it. Now begins the anticipation! Don't you see how special you are here at MMC? I also have something for MerryCarey, but hers will be completed after yours. I am trying out a few things and some of you will be my guinea pigs!

Ooh. A surprise for me? Really? I hope I don't die from anticipation!!!!

She is making a robot to do the dishes for you! Now I can just come over and relax while reading your newspaper instead of washing dishes.

Thanks Seawaters!!! :D

Not a whole lot else going on today. My mom and I are going to do lunch, then I may do some more Christmas shopping. I have bought a lot already - I'm really on top of it this year and am really proud of myself, I must say!

Have fun at lunch and it's good to hear that someone is doing really good with their christmas shopping. I'm way behind where I normally am at this point in the year.

I know tired all too well. I hope you start feeling better soon. I hope Mr. gets some rest! Prayers to you all.

Thank you---you are all so kind.

I took this picture last fall in Maggie Valley, NC.

We're planning to set this up in Bellville this afternoon. Fun stuff!!

Love it! Years ago someone around the corner from us had four ghosts like this in his yard, all in a row---they looked like a quartet singing! I have a photo of them.

He's right though; even if you're just there - you're presence is what counts. You're doing a lot MerryC!

Thanks! They should be here soon. They called about 15 minutes ago and said they were leaving. Another 15 minutes gave or take and they will be here.

I am sure you will get caught up soon. You are always on top of things!

Part of my "tired" is because Mr. hasn't been getting as much sleep as he should, from looking after his dad, and if he doesn't sleep well, neither do I. Wednesday the doctor told MIL that it could be a matter of days ... he's getting "clingy" and afraid to be left alone in a room. Although, when the doctor gave FIL about 3 months, that was 7 or 8 months ago. Mr. is "on duty" for a few hours each on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I'm hoping I can get him to relax some in between.

Praying for all of you.

Sorry I spoiled the surprise, Seawaters, I just couldn't resist showing Made what you are making him. When you're finished, I want one too!!!

Oh, I love anticipation! But you must play fair ... you must make something for EVERYBODY now! cheesy

The doc normally prescribes a cough medicine with codeine. I know a lot of people cannot take codeine, but I swear by the medicine. I don't think I have EVER finished a whole bottle, that's how good it works.

It's strange, but codeine won't work for me when I have a stubborn cough. The only prescription that seems to work for me is Hydromet.

I've never tried Delsym, but I think I've seen it on the shelf. Must remember that for when the next cold comes around.

Last night was quiet. I went to the gym again and had some more great progress on my knee. I can finally do proper deadlifts again. I hadn't done that since the end of June! With that said, I haven't lost a whole lot of strength, I just need to focus on my form and re-gain a bit of stamina. I'm excited for it to all come back. Perhaps I can start squatting again next week? We'll see how my knee continues to progress. Even if I cannot next week, I'm excited to do so in the next couple weeks.

I'm glad to hear that it is getting better!!

Off to lunch! Talk to you guys in a bit!
