Hi CAH !! My sister and I went today !!! I finally got the polar bear ornament with the light house !!!!!!! And lots others too !!!! xoxo There isn't much help or hope I am afraid for the insurance situation....Just can't get a straight answer as to when these changes are implemented.......But they WILL be implented........:sad: xoxo

When my ex-husband was in the service, we attended a lot of those kinds of shows. It always gave me goosebumps. Sharing it with your dad must be so special to you.

Wayne, my dad and I just got back from the Airshow with the Thunderbirds and Canadian Snowbirds headlining the show. We had a blast!

I just love how my dad and I both have a passion for airshows. We have been going to them together for over 20 years. Looking forward to another 20 years of airshows with him!!!

You are so welcome for the recipe. Like I said in the Recipe post, we have been using that one for a looong time! It is just so good that we just never want to change up our recipes at Thanksgiving. That's why I am glad to try the new recipes we are going to use for Canadian Thanksgiving!

I am ready to call it a night, too. Dinner is almost ready, and I am going to relax afterwards. Good night, all.

Had a great day out on the road. Only got lost briefly. Found a great thrift store, hung out at a Cracker Barrel, visited a super Walmart with the worlds slowest cashier running the till. Moms plane was only 10 min late. Construction on I94 put us on the road home 1/2 longer than the trip would normally take. Crossing the boarder both ways only took a few minutes, no line ups at all! Found a cute row of snowmen for my front window. Bought 3 shopping bags and a pumpkin that plays the Adam Family theme song. Stopped at Big Boy and got my son his favorite burger. Stopped at one of those road side rest stops, me and my daughter went in the stalls and started laughing, you could look right over the wall into the next stall!!! Glad no one else was in there at the time.
Now we are home, tired, out of money, and ready for a sleep.

I wanted to say that dinner turned out so good. This is the first time I have made my own barbecue sauce from scratch (except the Coca Cola one). Hubby and I were very happy with the results.

Hah! That was great seawaters! I really enjoyed that. I had to catch myself from laughing too loud (don't want to wake the mrs.) I can appreciate alot of that and especially the end, I spend alot of my spare time with my grandfather, he's 94 (like all day today); and as Bradmac put it once; He's a Hoot!!!!lol
