Xmastidings, you are so lucky to have your grandfather with you. I remember how my grandmother made me laugh even when she was not "all there." I had to make myself laugh quietly, too. Glad you liked it!

Hah! That was great seawaters! I really enjoyed that. I had to catch myself from laughing too loud (don't want to wake the mrs.) I can appreciate alot of that and especially the end, I spend alot of my spare time with my grandfather, he's 94 (like all day today); and as Bradmac put it once; He's a Hoot!!!!lol

Days to Christmas Day: 79
Did I say 38?! Why yes today marks a milestone. Something we can all celebrate! Yes, today we hit the homestretch. 90% to the Season. Only 10% left until we can all usher in the Season together! Wonderful!!!

As for that next milestone , Crown will announce it tomorrow! Christ these days, friends. Christmas is closing in on us!

Forgot to say , the forum I am in to sort out our event for the Christmas ,lights, they have a lot of blowmold decor that used to be put up on the poles in the town, they asked me did I want them. What!!! Of course I want them !
When I get my own computer back later I want to show you guys a air blown that I have seen in America it's one of Genny,s new one for this year and see what you think of it

We went to Oktoberfest at the Elks Lodge on Friday. The food was so good. I normally do not like sauerkraut, but the homemade stuff that the cook made is/was so delicious. She also made wonderful potato salad. The brats and sausages were the best.

...there is Autumnfest....so we are going...to see Kandice´sd beloved Dodos (any type of deer) and meerkats

Good morning everyone. Having a quiet weekend, but I'm surprising my wife with a trip away next weekend when we're both off work. A belated birthday pressie as we never got to celebrate with moving house, so looking forward to that. Also hoping to see some Christmas stores opening soon.

Well, the kids woke up too early for a Sunday morning! Church doesn't start until 11:00, so we could have slept in. But, that's alright. I believe today is a milestone day on the countdown! Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Window dedications are so special, especially when they are in memory of a loved-one.

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's going to be another busy day.

We go to a small country church. It's so small, we have to share a preacher with another church. Our services are from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, then he has 30 minutes to get to the 11:00 am service at the other church. So we're aleays ruching around on Sunday morning getting ready for church, then we're home by 11.

Anyway, today we're having lunch at church after service, with a 2pm window dedication. A few years ago, we started a remodel that included changing the plain house windows out for stained glass. The windows were very expensive, so each family bought one. Today is the window dedication, and our window will be dedicated to the memory of my Dad. It should be a nice service.

After that, Elizabeth goes to Nutcracker practice while Jacob and I get back on the tractor. The kids are out of school tomorrow, but I have to work.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's chilly here this morning but I love it. I'm just dropping by real quick to say hi. I'm going to head out to Riley Days again to see what I missed yesterday. Hopefully I can find the deep fried candy bar guy. I didn't see him yesterday. I'll be back home before 2pm though because I can't miss the nascar race today. I mean it's Talladega!!!!! Hubby and I stopped at Bed, Bath, and Beyond when we were in Redding. We picked up some Keurig K-Cups. One is called Rocket Fuel! I think that might give a jumpstart to your day!

thanks seawaters there is lts some look like victorian lanterns and sants,s faces. must be 20 they were used about 10 years ago in our town and were left in storage. they need wired , but thats not a problem dont think iwood want them all the house is not that big but am gonna take 2 for out side the shop

Not much going on here in warm northern California. Next week, some of the days will be close to the 90s. I go back to work tomorrow, having been off all week. I am going over to my classroom today to make the copies that I delayed doing this past week. It will take some time, but I want to do as much as I can so I can truly relax and enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love being organized! Have a great day, everyone. Hubby is almost finished making the steak breakfast burritos. All are welcome! Jet fuel coffee is ready!
