Hey! Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend. It has been so busy here for me. DH has been gone all weekend, so I have been busy doing things and haven't got to really stop in much. I will try to tomorrow. We are getting family pictures tomorrow at 12, so that is on my agenda tomorrow morning/afternoon.

Alright, off to take a nap before work. Talk to you all tomorrow. Have a great start to your week!

I was a little early on this before but Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian Christmas Family !!! Have joyous stuffed day !! xoxo

Congrats on the Colts win Made!

Thanks. Of course I only watched the first half and figured they were going to get killed. So I didn't record it on the dvr. So I missed the best part.

Goodnight Everyone!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to my friends north of the border!!!!

We are going to watch The Lemondrop Kid with Bob Hope then go to sleep.

I love when Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell sing Silver Bells while walking through the decorated streets!

Goodnight everyone!

Canada is beautiful; so is Niagra Falls. Hubby and I plan to make a Fall Colors tour of the northeast one of these days. Being from the South, I really miss the fall colors out here in California. We get some, but nothing as brilliant as those back East! I miss it so much!

As an afterthought here, I'm going to amend my previous post, I also have plans to go North of the Border (in my near future), to drive up into Canada and do some site seeing. I want to go up thru Niagra Falls and go North a bit and then turn East and head for the coast... But, not sure what points of intrest could be in a possible route like that and I am interested in getting some tips and also places of intrest....

And in respect for my friend Shellie12, I would also like to visit Ireland one day to follow my family footsteps/ roots back home.... I am part Irish from my great Grandmother (her maiden name was McLean) and would like to see the country where her parents came from....

Lucky you to be able to cosy up tonight!

This is our weather warning for today:

EDT Sunday 07 October 2012
2:57 pm:Frost warning for
Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County issued

Widespread frost tonight.

Expect widespread frost to develop tonight as temperatures fall to or just below the freezing mark under clear skies and light winds. Temperatures will slowly climb above zero after sunrise on Monday.

I was going to pre-cook some of our dishes for tomorrow, but after working at school all day, I am just too tired!

the smell of turkey fills the house. Started making the pumpkin cheese cake. Still have to make gravy and stuffing. Then it all goes in the fridge for tomorrows family Thanksgiving dinner at my brothers place. With so many coming and such a small kitchen we have to pre-cook everything.

I am enjoying my full day off, after church and teaching children's church I got to actually stay home for a change. Enjoying doing some cooking and baking. In between watching TV and doing a bit of work on the competition cake.

You are so ahead of the game!

Sunday hello! :-)

Today's challenge: I'm trying to QA our annual "Christmas clips" DVD, but because our TV is not digital, it won't display some of the menu elements correctly, so I can't tell what it will look like on a digital flat-screen TV ... y'know, we HAVE to get a digital TV before next year's production! I'll have to give the test DVD to Mr. and let him check it at his parents' house. They've got modern TVs!

Today has been all Christmas work so far, between trying to get the DVD to gel and crocheting on my Christmas afghan while I'm waiting for the computer to finish rendering and burning video.

Solice, you, too, could celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving like I am going to do!

I LOVE the smell og turkey filling the house!
Tomorrow sound so great! You are so lucky =]
I wish you and your family the best Thanksgiving tomorow! ♥
-HAPPY THANKSGIVING-

I have been watching all the posts for days, about the tempertures in places getting a little frosty at night and also some frost in the mornings as well. For a nice change, the tmperature around here finally started to drop some at it really felt like Fall today.

I had to go in to work today (can you believe that, on a Sunday), didn't even get a chance to watch the Ravens beat the Chiefs; nor get anything accomplished around here today. Well, coming from work, and feeling those cool crisp temperatures, sure stirred a fire under me. So, when I got home, I went up to the attic and started pulling out all the Halloween decorations.

As Rafiki said in the Lion King, "It is Time!" :boo:

I went in to my classroom to get some work done. I almost have all the copies made that I need to make to get through Valentine's Day! I put together some fun but educational packets for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Tonight I am going to color the cover page for each packet of my master copy so the kids can see how to do it neatly. I am also going to work on some Halloween scrapbooking cards and pages. Those will take a while, in addition to some special projects that I want to complete soon. I am going to finish making copies of the classroom materials so I can then buckle down and have fun working on the projects. When I get ahead, then I don't feel guilty working on my personal projects. Have a good rest-of-the-evening, Christmas friends!
