I just made waffles for lunch and are now enjoying my coffee.

I have a headache. And it's been there since last night.
Medicine dont work.
So I guess I just have to take it easy for the rest of the day.

Watching the movie "Tooth Fairy" what a silly movie!
Got some more work done for my cakes. Did some shopping, hit a few thrift store but did not find much today.

LittleCS is upset, she started a new job 3 months ago and was let go because it just did not suit her. She is great with office administration work, but this job wanted her to call clients and line them up with personal support workers, something she really did not like doing. She is upset with loosing her job, but I think she will be a lot less stressed now. Only thing is she now has to hit the pavement again looking for something else.

Less stress is good for all! I hope she finds something that suits her ~ I'll keep her in my prayers.

Dinner is in the crockpot: stew meat and chunks of onion with a mixture of savory beef gravy and mushroom gravy. We will pour this over rice cooked with whole kernel corn and its "juice." I am making myself hungry just writing about it. We will have cole slaw to go with it. Any other good dinners tonight?

What a long day! My mom is really sick, so if anyone can, prayers would be really appreciated. I need a good Christmas movie to wind down the weekend today or tomorrow. I can't wait for the season!! Walmart needs to put their dang wrapping paper out already - we all know how I feel about that! I search the aisles every time and I think the employees all know me by now to know what I'm hunting for lol!

Good morning, MMC!

Another rainy day here ~ we really need the rain so I hope it lasts a long time! After I made my cookies yesterday, I decided to lay down and take a nap ~ it was a little after six and I don't usually nap all that good, but my head was aching and I had to do something. Four and half hours later I woke up long enough to check on the cats and then back to sleep I went. I must have really needed the sleep as I got over 12 hours in. I'm really behind on everything again though, and I missed the Greasy Skillet ~ that bums me out more than anything.

Today will spent playing catch up ~ and if time permits, reading and knitting.

I am looking so forward to decorating !!! Our tree and my sister's...

It is so nice that you have a special moment to share with your sister in decorating her tree together. It reminds me of a friend of mine, about 15 years ago, who had a few health issues. I would go to her house every December to decorate her house and wrap all her presents for her. I enjoyed the visit very much and miss not doing that anymore. I have lost contact with her. =(

Enjoy the time with your sister!!! I know you will!

Wayne and I went to Six Flags yesterday and got our Season Passes. My daughter, son-in-law, grandkids and mom will be picking theirs up sometime next week. It will be fun to go out there with them all throughout the year!

We had a good time at Six Flags but I was so wiped out when we got home. Wayne and I watched all the Charlie Brown shows last night, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas then went to sleep.

I have a very busy day today and didn't have time to reply to all but I did read everything I missed.

I hope that all who are ill will get to feeling better soon! I will keep those in prayer who requested it.
