Hello everyone!

I have just noticed how late actually it is now here, in Scotland. My clock says 01:32am. ^^ I came back home half an hour ago from friend's birthday. Well, I'm not sure if she is my friend because usually friends don't appear in a month or two but since we started university, we get along pretty well so I would dare to call her my friend this time. ^^ She turned 18 tonight. To be more technical - two minutes after midnight. What a strange time to be borned. ^^ Me together with two other girls bought her a gift set from 'The Body Shop'. We hope she will like it. :] Of course, birthday included birthday cake and other things which are very high in calories, sugar and other bad stuff. I ate a lot of it so definitely, no food tomorrow (or should I say later today ^^) just a lot of pure water to clean my organism of all that rubish food I ate. I hope everybody is enjoying the weekend! Hugs!

Just a quick Saturday hello ... :-) It's been a busy day. The cable guy got here an hour after the scheduled window, but he called to let us know he'd be late, so I give 'em some points for that. We're up and running now. We didn't have to move boxes and furniture after all, 'cause he couldn't run a cable into this room---he would've had to go through the basement ceiling. So he set up the cable modem in the room across the hall and the computer runs on Wi-Fi. I'd prefer a hard connection, but it seems to be working fine. I've been sweating over getting the new email addresses up and running, and tomorrow I'll be digitally running around updating email addresses on various accounts. And we'll be losing the personal web space we had with the old provider, so I have to move the two little organization-info websites we run. Oh, joy! But, as Mr. says, people do this every day.

I'm too frazzled at the moment to shout out to individuals, but you can be sure I'm thinking of all of you, and hoping for things to improve for those of you who are having a rough time.

ahh, I know frazzled! Go have a nice long soak and read a good book. Feel better!

Hey everyone! I am totally out of the loop as usual here. I have had a horrrid week...I mean one of the toughest I have had in a long while...I may not be around much anymore but I wish I had the time to hang around here more,All my friends here just keep me in your prayers cause I am having a tough time here!!! I hope Everyone is having a good weekend though, our leaves are now just beginning to turn so I am looking forward to that the next 2 to 3 weeks!!! Take care all!

Praying for you friend.

how old is your niece? you don't think that will give her nightmares do you? oh well you know best!

She's 4. We only watched about 15 minutes. I turned it off before I got to gory because I don't like that kind of stuff. She likes to watch them with her father though. So I don't think it will give her nightmare's.

And Made - Friday the 13 - with Jason???
Well, I guess that's the end of your 'babysitting career'... LOL

Heck, If that's all it takes I should have let her watch it a lot sooner.

Well I thought I had got rid of my older niece but somehow she ended up back at my apartment after my sister got done at the craft show. So I'm going to call it a night and force 2 litttle girls to go to bed.

Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, it's not the first time I'll do it. :] It's very easy for me because my organism isn't used to junk food so after I eat it, I'm required for 'food-free' day by body itself. :] Everyone is very disciplined so you would definitely be able to have a 'food-free' day. :]

Heh, thanks. ^^ I'll be okey. I'll just need to go to supermarket in the morning to buy bottled water because water from tap isn't very clean here and it smells strange, so... :D I'm not very keen on drinking it. :D

reminds me of the song "the cat came back!"
I once set all the clocks in the house ahead an hour and convinced the kids it was their bedtime! It worked great, a little complaining because for some reason no one was tired, but I sure enjoyed that evening!

What a day!
I was to work from 8:30 to 2pm....then she comes in and almost passes out so I send her off to the Hospital, making me do almost the whole day by myself (this is at a subway) It was 5 before the next worker was due and she came in 5 min late. I stayed till 5:30 to finish up the dishes, but when I found her just visiting with friends, I left her to finish them. With so much work to do if she had time to visit then she had time to do it herself, besides I was tired! (this is the same girl I talked about the other day, the one who thinks she was hired as window dressing rather than an actual worker!) LOL
Anyway, finally came home to a nice long soak, then had take out dinner (thought I would get someone to make my food for a change!)
Now I am catching up here and watching Night at the Museum.

were you ever able to talk to your manager the other day about her? she def won't last w/ that attitude.

good night everyone! sweet dreams!:%

It's late, I can't sleep, so here I am... I took the Mrs out for dinner tonight and Oh Boy, it was great, but it's not liking me too much! Have you ever felt like that you just ate a brick? Well that's how I feel right now. Boy, 6 hours later and I'm still feeling it; I need the extra strength Malox.

Well after dinner, we went out on our continued search for a new Christmas Tree, and we found one that we liked and bought it tonight. It's a Martha Stewart Living, 7.5 foot tall tree. It is a pre-lit tree, but I will be taking those off....

I'm still putting up my Halloween decorations but I have to tell you, going shopping for a Christmas tree really got me all pumped up for Christmas instead... I'm sooooo Holiday confused right now...lol

Well it is getting really late here on the east Coast and I guess I should try to make another attempt to get some sleep; see you all in the AM... Say Goodnight Gracie!!!

chillin with Kandice in front of the tv....goin to have a cuppa coffee in a few....goin to do some laundry and mop the floor today....nuttin else goin on today

Nice lazy Sunday for me today, movies in bed and an early night ahead of me I think.
Can't quite believe we only have 64 days until the big day, I've normally done so much shopping by now but I've done next to nothing.

Good Morning, Friends.
Part II of our Weekend has begun.

And today is the first day of the rest of our count:
Days to the Season: 23 (Barely over 3 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 65 (Closing in on 9 weeks!)
Can the year really have gone by so fast?
<< Yep, 'fraid so. >>

What a nice day we had for our visit to the State Fair, yesterday.
The temp started out cool in the mid 50's but warmed up to about 70 as the day wore on.
Lots of sun and no rain.
Perfect Fair weather!
The family enjoyed it.

Kept looking for Fired Twinkies at the Fair but all I saw were the fried ones.
Oh, well. I guess Carl has not gotten the concession there yet. Maybe next year.
But sure enough, there was a Christmas display there!
Got some photos with my trusty Kodak and will post them in the Blossoms thread soon.

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!
Enjoy the remainder of your weekend to the fullest.
