LOL! Yes. Beware of Valerie's bucket o' glitter!

Do you watch when David Venable is on? I love watching his gourmet holiday segments. He's so extra animated. Too bad that doesn't come on until 4.

Dan sure is proud of his own decorating skillz, isn't he? Only 14 minutes until this segment is over.

Yes he is!!! He hasn't talked about his lit and get lit party yet though.

Sometimes. His segments usually make me to hungry.

So Dan is having all of the Rep's from Bethlehem lights come over to help decorate but he is using a Santa's best tree? Shame on him.

What's up, gang? Hope you are enjoying your Wednesday night. The Wifey and I are sitting here watching tv and hanging out....

got a quick question....does anybody know when the Charlie Brown special comes on?

Tonight at my friends house, with Garfield Halloween to follow!! Come on over!

Good morning everyone. Well, I try to wait until Halloween before I break out the Christmas music. But, it's two months from today until the big day, and we have a big cold front moving through, so it's going to be cool outside today (finally). I think this calls for some Christmas tunes...
I hope everyone has a great Thursday! Praying for all those who may be in the path of the tropical storm! Stay safe.

Indeed, it's time to break out the Christmas music! ENJOY!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! One more warm day here in central Indy before the rain moves in overnight and the bottom falls out on the thermometer. Not much going on here today. I have a few errands to run and then it will be back home to get some more cleaning done. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I don't need to check the weather anymore! I can just read made's posts...seems we always have the same weather, just that the rain/snow arrives here a couple hours later! Thanks Made!!!

Unhappily, the news stories this morning say the hurricane will be merging with an early winter storm from the West and arctic air from the north---and they're now giving the hurricane a 70% chance of hitting somewhere between Cape Hatteras and Cape Cod. One forecaster recalled that the "Perfect Storm" of 1991 caused millions of dollars in damage---he's calling this one "a billion-dollar storm." Another says that there's no modern precedent to compare this scenario with. They're beginning to make me seriously worry. I guess all we can do is stock up and batten down, and keep an eye on the forecasts. At least we have the weekend to prepare.

I think my brother/sil from Cape Cod should fly home to Ohio now!! EEK! Stay safe!!!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

And Happy Rudolph Day (only one more till the real thing!)!!

I called my mom last night. She's in the Smoky Mountains of NC (not far from Mgramsey) and she says the fall leaves are spectacular. She doesn't have a smart phone, so she can't send pictures right away, but she promised to take lots of pix with her camera for later. I can't wait to see them!

I don't have to work at the store this weekend, so I think I'll go to watch Elizabeth at the Nutcracker Ballet practice. She was showing me how she can dance on point (tip toes) last night. I have to say, my little girl is very graceful!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Isn't that crazy?? ONE MORE RUDOLPH DAY UNTIL THE REAL THING??? WOW!!! How nice you have the weekend off! ENJOY watching your daughter! Glad to hear your Mom made it safely!! It sounds beautiful - well worth the drive!

hi all! I'm home sick today, watching Home for the Holidays with Dan on QVC. If anyone wants to watch with me, you're more than welcome! BYOHC (Bring Your Own Hot Chocolate)

What a great way to make you feel better! Get well quick!

Good afternoon from Winter Wonderland!
Took this photo this morning out front.
But it's been snowing since, so it's much more snow now!

This was my view driving today:

The boys are so happy!
They have been waiting for the snow for days now
They are out playing, making
Snowball light and Snowman.

I am happy too! I LOVE snow (before Christmas)

Dinner time here. Hope you have a GREAT day!!!

Love

OMGosh!!! That is BEAUTIFUL!!! It's hard to imagine at 80º here today!!! ENJOY!! Thanks for sharing!

Santa's best needs a Hillary to set up their tree's for them.

Okay Dan's home for the holidays is over. I'm off to do something constructive.

Woow I can't believe you got so much snow! Even if we will get some snow over the weekend, I highly doubt it will be as much as you have. Maybe I really should consider moving to norway. My work colleague and I just talked about it.

Happy Rudolph Day, everyone! Two months till Christmas, woo-hoo!!!

:merry:

Wow, your right.... That's a reality check for me! It is just amazing just how quickly the time is passing us by. I would really like to to take time in itself right now and slow it down.... Just so that we can savor in the anticipation of the Christmas season that we are fast approaching....

WHAT?????? You lucky duck!!! I had a dream about snow last night. Like 20+ feet of snow! A one lane road with 20' of snow on the other side, and a snow avalance coming down on my nieces car that I was riding in...and the roof starting to cave in. BUT WE MADE IT THROUGH!!! What a night!!

That sounds more like a nightmare to me!!

The new GFS model is showing it making landfall right over long island on Tuesday morning now. The euro model, which has been the most accurate so far, still has it coming in over the DC area and then heading inland. Scary either way.

I just saw that on Foxnews, their main page is tittled : "Halloween Nightmare" ! Talk about getting someone's attention!

I wonder how soon, there will be a run on toilet paper, milk, bread and gas!

You mean it hasn't started already? Oh and don't forget the candles. The weather channel said it could knock out the power to the whole northeast for weeks.

Or you could use Battery powered glitter candles.

Hey guys! In Florida and loving it! The only worry we have is the tropical storm Sandy - they said it is a monster storm for this time of year and it could hit the FL coast or shift up the coast to the northeast states. If it hits here, it will be Friday. Pray for it to miss here!! I can't believe I am up at 4 AM but I went to bed early since it was a travel day and slept like a baby. Flight was good so thanks for your prayers! Guess I will ty going back to bed now. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck said "hi!" ;]

I will be thinking of you hoping that storm doesn't get Bad... Now give Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, & Pluto a HUGE hug for me!!!

I have been keeping an eye on it boy, I live on Long Island - it is really rather small only 120 miles from Montauk to Manhattan so flooding is always an issue. The one we got last August is still fresh in our minds... I have all the things I need, but we have not winterized the boat, we are going to do that tonight when hubby gets home, pull it from the bay, haul it home rather be safe then sorry.

This Sandy has me a little worried now. I think I'll go to the store when I get off work, and pick up some batteries for the lanterns and canned spaghetti and stuff. I can always donate it to my church for food-give-away if we don't need it. I was just saying to somebody here at work that this might be the only year I ever take my Halloween display down BEFORE Halloween. I sure don't want my ghosts and tombstones flying all over the neighborhood.

Good luck to all on the East Coast....we're all praying that Sandy just dries up and blows away.

That's a good point. I have Halloween decorations all over my front yard... Oh, that will get ugly real quick if this storm pans out like they are saying it's going to!!!
