I am getting worried about Wayne's family along the east coast. They are starting to see some high winds and limbs are falling. His mom so far is okay, just a little windy and rain but the others are getting hit a little harder.

We're lucky to still have power. About noon there were 20,000 without power in Massachusetts. At 1 p.m. it was about 30,000. Now it's nearly 60,000, and the worst wind is supposed to reach us around 5:30 and through the evening. Been watching the continuous coverage since about noon.

Still here, too. Our trains stopped last night and 2 towns over, no driving is allowed. My hubby needs to hurry it on up!!! I'm following a few places on FB from the shore town ew go to and it's devastating, 6-7 hours from landfall. Waist high water!Light rain here and some strong gusts

Oh, judesmama, that's so scary ... please let us know when your hubs is safe! Mine got on the last train out. It left Boston around 1:45, so he should get here within about an hour, if the roads are open between here and the train station.

Eek. CNN is showing a high rise crane in New York city that has broken. Hopefully it don't fall but they are getting ready to see some bad winds and 70 stories up that crane is going to see well over 100mph gusts.

oh yeah...there is....Only 56 days until Christmas....the christmas presents for my niece and nephew are bought, too......Lego Firefighter stuff for the boy.....a Monster High Doll for the gyal....she really digs those monsterlike things...well...why not.....for Kandice I already go this Buzzlight-Year Laser Blast Lasersound and light gun from Disneyland Paris....it looks almost similar to the guns that You use in one of the rides....and I have ordered Peter Pan and Toy Story 2 already.....girl is gettin spoiled rotten this christmas

Merry, I hpoe the power stays on for ya and you and the Mr. are hunkered down! We are camping out in the living room tonight. The kids are rolling around in blankets and having a grand ol' time!

I bet they are having a blast! One of the best times I ever had with my family was when I was 11 and there was an ice storm that knocked out power for at least a week. We camped in the living room, played word games, read and just enjoyed each other's company. I do hope your power stays on and that your pear tree does not fall. Take care, judesmama!
