Something 'terrible' happend here in the middle og the night.
A huge painting we have high up on our wall (in our hall) fell down.
OMG I woke up with the heart beating outside my body!

We both thought that someone had smashed a window and
was getting inside the house.The stairs was covered in glass.
Relieved is was 'just' the painting.
It took forever to fall asleep again, I was still so scared!

Im so glad Thomas was home.
If I were alone here I probably jumped out the window... (LOL)

Better news:
I got my first Christmas Card yesterday!
Thank you Head Elf! ♥ I love it!

Im going to write mine tonight!

I want to set up the Christmas Tree today.
But Im not sure I will get the help I need from Thomas
since he is laying in bed... But I will try!

Good afternoon,

I got home this morning around 9am, I really don't want to work these Black Fridays anymore, it is not fun to deal with extremely large crowds, inebriated customers, disrespectful people and so on. I am not trained in security and people getting upset when things run out really got scary a few times. To say the least I was up for 27 hours straight and I am running on a 3 hour nap now. I did pick up a couple Christmas DVD's though, The Smurfs Christmas Carol, and A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. I am just taking it easy for the rest of the day, I have to go back to work at 7 am tomorrow.

watched a few videos on that stuff and I am so glad to hear you are home safe. Cannot believe how stupid people can get over stuff.

Yikes, that sounds horrible! I'm working today, but not in retail (wiping my brow in relief)......hope you're able to get some rest today, and tomorrow will be much better!

Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! I couldn't get here yesterday to wish you all that due to helping my better half preparing for our Thanksgiving day feast and cleaning the house, running errands and picking up both sets of grandpop's (ones 89 and the other is 94), etc...

But it was alot of fun and it was a grand day.... I ate soooo much yesterday and sooo many times, that when I woke up this morning, I swear, from the way my head and stomach felt, that I had a Turkey hangover..lol....

So what did I do this morning, got up, made a cup of coffee, nuked some tukey leftovers and voila, breakfast of Turkey champions.... Can't let a good bird go to waste!

I hope everyone has a good day today, for me with having the day off with pay today (company paid holiday) is a good day regardless. So, I'm going to spend it running some errands and then later do a little shopping with for/with my daughter; (daddy daughter bonding time), IE... that means that dad is buying...lol Have Fun....

I am so sorry your Black Friday was so awful. I have worked many times in the past in retail as a clerk and You don't exaggerate !! People can really turn into idiots and worse and over what - "STUFF".. On the other hand, it always made me appreciate the people who stayed respectful and calm and waited their turns and realized that "Christmas doesn't come in a store, perhaps Christmas means a little bit more..." To paraphrase a wise man.........xo
