Good evening,

Watching my DVD of Ed Sullivan Christmas, great music on it. Busy day at work, lots of paperwork about the Thanksgiving season today. I have my inventory tomorrow, so I am off Wednesday instead. Possible snow coming in tomorrow, not much though.

Have a great night!

Goodnight Everyone!!!

speaking of getting some rest, I think I will head off and do just that.
I am also going to get my daughter and have her show me how to put all the pod casts on my IPhone tomorrow.
Gingerbread house is coming along, a lot of little things to do on it. None of it hard, just takes time. I will post pictures when it is all done. I have to take it to contest site on Wednesday evening.
I am having fun with all this, but will be glad when it is done!

Good night everybody! I'm off to dream about fruitcakes!!!

Good Morning all!! Had a bit of a rough weekend, my 2 younger girls had a nasty sickness bug :( so didn't manage to get on here.

My local town had their Christmas lights switched on last night, but what with the girls still not being 100% and it raining hard all day we didn't make it! Never mind we are putting all our Christmas decorations up on Saturday!! hehe cant wait!!!

Going to catch up on what I've missed! Have a great day!!:merry:

I've been given a day off work today so finally watching the new DVD's that I bought Christmas Princess, Fred Claus and Santa Paws 2 :) was going to leave Santa Paws 2 until Christmas Eve but I think this year I'll be spending it with my boyfriend so I'll let him choose the movie :)

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #15

Good Morning!
And so we begin the 3rd week of Christmas Season 2012.
(Incredible, isn't it. Time's sure a flyin'!)

As indicated also by this:
Days to Christmas Day: 28 (FOUR WEEKS from today!)

Ah!
Much nicer yesterday, with our high in the upper 60's.
Should be pretty good today also, abeit with an elevated chance of rain.
I read 43.1 degrees here currently on our digital back door thermometer.

Terrific Tuesday Time?
You bet!
It's the heart of the Season, tomorrow is 'Pines Day and we pass under the 4 week mark to Christmas!
(Can't get much better than that, right?)

Good Morning MMC!

Another day has begun, I have my cup of tea, watching Breakfast TV thinking maybe I might cook up some eggs and sausages.

It is supposed to go up to 9c or higher by Sunday so all this snow will be gone. :-?

They are talking about a white Christmas tree that was abandoned by the elevator in the studio. The host wants to take it home with her. It is made of white feathers, so cool...I wish I could go and get it. They are also talking about some homes and the lights on them. Love it!!!

Hello ... :-)

Holiday, I hope the fruitcakes come out well, and I hope your kitchen smelled as nice as ours did after baking them!

No news on this end to speak of. We're expecting a little wet snow today, but I expect it'll be more sloppy than pretty. And I'll be proofreading another round of that 102-page brochure today. Maybe I'll dig out my earphones and plug into the Christmas music on my iPad to get me through it.

Looking forward to a day off on Friday, so I can put out some outdoor decorations, finish my cards and packages, re-pot the Christmas cactuses I'm giving as gifts, and start to decorate the trees! I may put some of that off until Saturday so I can cuddle up with some tea or cocoa and watch a Christmas movie or two while I have the house to myself on Friday.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I have to go to a groundbreaking ceremony today at noon for a retirement "village" being constructed just outside the Bellville city limits. Even though they are outside Bellville, they asked if I would join in and say a few words & have my picture taken with a shovel. Ah, the rigors of political life.

It's a little warmer here today than it was yesterday, but it looks like rain. I might need an umbrella with that shovel, eh?

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day here in central Indy with a high of 40. I got my tree decorated yesterday and some of the icicle lights up. I think I have about 4 strands of lights to go today to finish the building. I also want to get some more of my Santa's put out today. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good morning,

I leave for work in 30 minutes and my work clothes are not dry yet, I forgot to start them last night so now I will be playing it close. The Christmas gifts we ordered should start coming in today, I can't wait until everything is in after last year when things we ordered were lost or destroyed in the mail. I should probably go get ready for work, I will standing in the freezer with my clipboard counting, and freezing.

It's SNOWING now!!!

Have a great day!!!

Hi everyone I know I have been missing on the boards for a while since Thanksgiving!!! Well we had a wonderful day, thank you everyone for all your thoughts and well wishes.

On Friday, we went out we broke tradition and made a new tradition, we went out and saw the Live Carolers in Port Jefferson, NY and went to the Three Village square in East Setauket, NY and walked the square and planted a Christmas Tree in the square. We had a wonderful day them went home in the afternoon and started the Tree. We finished the tree and all I can say (and I think I say this every year) that it is the best one yet!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful time too. I will be catching up as I can. I missed chating it up with you all!!!

Enjoy the day MMC
Oh and PS it is snowing here in NYC WOOOO HOOOOO

Merry, the house smelled wonderful while I was baking them, but then my sniffer must have gotten use to the smell while I slept overnight. BUT this morning I went for a walk & when I got back home, as soon as I walked in the house I was overcome with the smell of something wonderful "baking" - Mmmmmmm! The house STILL smells great!!! All cakes are wrapped in wine soaked cheese cloth, & aluminum foil!

Your day off on Friday sounds great! ENJOY!!!! I have Friday off too, but I'll be shopping!

Good morning, everyone!

I hope you all have a great Tuesday. I can't believe we are getting so close to Christmas! This is the time where I don't mind the days going slow at all - I love to take in all of the Christmas magic :]

The doctor was able to squeeze me in for an appointment yesterday. They did two swab tests to check for strep and the rapid test said that I didn't have it. So it looks like a virus that'll just have to go away. My pulse was so high, 147, that it sent their machine blinking and beeping. I told them I've always had a high pulse because I remember counting it in gym class in school. They did an EKG and said that everything looked normal - a strong heartbeat but it was just very fast. I didn't expect for any of that to happen!

Last night was by far my worst day with the sickness, but at least I slept last night. My voice is almost totally gone, it's very weak and raspy. Looks like this will just be a waiting game.

The Grinch is on from 8-8:30 PM EST tonight, I believe. At least I think I read that somewhere. I love all of the holiday programs!

I am going to keep drinking so I stay hydrated and relax in front of the television. No school for me yesterday or today.

Have a great day!
