From an ad in Country Living for this month, I just ordered one of Hubby's Christmas gifts from landofnod.com His father was in the Merchant Marines and you don't find a lot of stuff related to that. So, when I saw a pillow that has a blueprint of a Merchant Marine ship, I immediately ordered it. I decided to get one for his sister also. In addition, I ordered an advent "calendar" that consists of 25 white canvas bags with the numbers one through 25 stamped in red. Here are the links so you can see:

There is an option under settings that turns it on and off. Yours is just turned off right now. You can turn it on if you want people to know you are using tappatalk or you can just leave it turned off.

Tough day ... Proofread over 125 pages of small print. Less than half an hour for lunch, no other break. This project was supposed to have been approved a month or more ago, but the client just can't stop revising it. I can feel my brain melting down into slag. So here I am catching up with the posts on my iPad while it plays Christmas music.

Hugs for everyone. As much as I'm looking forward to the WLCP, I wish I could go to a big Christmas party with all of you in person.

Go to Settings, then Signature. Turn Signature on, then change it to whatever you want it to say. Hope that helps ... That's how it works on the iPad, anyway!

Hm ... I never had Tapatalk suggest going through Safari. (But when i use a browser, it usually suggests Tapatalk.) Some times I use Tapatalk, and it shows MMC in a list of visited forums (well, it's the only one I visit!), and also shows my avatar. I tap that, and it logs me right in to MMC on Tapatalk. Sometimes I use a browser instead, but when I do I tend to use Dolphin instead of Safari.

 

[Holiday]

I am in so much pain I cracked a rib from coughing so much and so hard the past five days and nights. Today the pain in my ribs is from right below my chest/heart and wrapped around to my side and back. Ugh! Been sick since Thanksgiving.

I hope you get some relief from the pain soon! OUCH!

Gearing up for St. Nicholas day now....need to get some wrapping paper tomorrow and then...when Kandice is in bed tomorrow evening....fill the stockings ....luv it luv it luv it

Despite the fact that I suffer when I move or cough, I am still vowing to enjoy my night and the Christmas season. I am so looking forward to watching Rudolph tonight! This is my favorite time of the year and this sickness will go away eventually!

Does anyone else DVR all of the sitcom Christmas episodes? It's a tradition in my house. My mom and I always record the Frasier, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, etc. and then have mini-marathons of watching some of them. Even though I watch them every single year, they never get old!

The doctor finally prescribed me some medicine. I just picked up my cough syrup and it has hydrocodone in it. It's supposed to get rid of my cough and make me drowsy so I can get some sleep tonight. Hopefully it takes the edge off of the rib pain, too!

Gonna go grab myself a snack and unwind before Rudolph! Who else is watching?!

I was going to make those cookies tonight, but I forgot we have a Lodge meeting where we will present three checks, one to each Scout group, for $739 each! Tomorrow is my last radiation treatment, so making the cookies tomorrow will be my celebration for myself!

Also, that will give me time to get some gloves for both you and Made! LOL

I have had a busy night - scrubbed the floor - then steam mopped the floor - then shined the floor...hubby walked in the door 3 hours later & asked "is the floor wet?" - I guess the shine worked! Hee hee! I went to the grocery then made a jalapeno dip, a mexican dip, ham roll ups, 2 kinds of whiskey slush (same slush- 1 with black velvet, 1 with jim beam) cleaned both bathrooms & now I am ALMOST ready for Christmas house hopping!!! YIPPEE!!! 2 more sleeps! Lol!

Sleep tight everyone!!!

My favorites are still the old ones. The Ultimate Gift, The Christmas Card, The Santa Suit, and The Mrs. Miracle series.

The new ones all seem to be a rehash of older movies with just a few things changed.
