This is so not fair, Xmas. I hope it all turns out well for you. If management has ANY SENSE they will already know you are the more valued employee.....I hope all turns out well..........xo
Here is one for you sports fans (especially college football).
I was in the office at work the other day and answered the phone. I am expecting it to be someone from Domtar paper, since they are our biggest customer, and instead I get a sports reporter from the New York Times. He explained he was trying to get in touch with Robin Weber for an interview for a catch he made in the 1973 Sugar Bowl. I am sure he has the wrong number, but he tells me the number he called, and it was correct. So I ask the warehouse supervisor, and he says that Robin Weber does work there, but he is not there at that time. So I get the man's name and phone number, and my supervisor said he will give Robin the information.
Now I never heard of Robin Weber, and know nothing about his catch he made, so I look it up when I get home. The 1973 Sugar Bowl was Notre Dame vs. Alabama (Robin was a tight end for Notre Dame), it was nearing the end of the game, and Robin made a catch that gave Notre Dame a first down, and basically sealed the win for Notre Dame. You can see it on You Tube, it doesn't look like much, but to these teams and their fans, it is a big deal. Below is a link to the video, Robin is #91 and is on the lower end of the line, if you watch him he gets a free release and no one covers him.

Good Christmas morning to all!
Couldn't make it to the pines. What?! First time ever missing the Pines. Ash (my Wife) is sick. Had to take her to the doctors. She has strep throat. Weeee. Oh well. She has meds now so thats good! Busy busy busy season. This weekend I am going to a buffet with friends. Our work Christmas party is too expensive, thats right, they have us pay. So we are doing a little gathering on our own. I cant believe its December already! Like I said. Once October hits, Christmas flys by. Well back to breakfast I go! Have a merry day everyone!
I think it's about time you open that year round Christmas store and have some of us jolly people work for you!!!

CS, How have you been? How are your jobs going? I thought I read that you are working at Sears, too? I used to work there and I really liked it.

Good morning/afternoon, MMC!
I just got home from class. I have tomorrow, then next week, and then it's time for finals! I can't believe I am almost done for the semester. The next couple of weekends will be filled with lots of papers and studying.
I finally got some sleep last night, yay! I coughed when I first got into bed, but then the medicine helped and I fell asleep and didn't cough at all. I got around 7-8 hours of sleep which is great compared to the whole two hours I have been getting lately. I feel a ton better today aside from my ribs hurting.
Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts/prayers!
Oh jeeze....I just compulsively spent $50 on one dozen cupcakes. I ordered them from the girls' company who are on the DC cupcake TV show.
