Thank you all for the fun.. yes it is tongue in cheek fun.. but a part of the special times here.. I stumbled across Darlene about six years ago.. just like I stumbeled across Christmas.com about 13 years ago.. hence.. a tradition was born.,.. and it just keeps getting better,,,, O M G,,,,,

It was fun and I was glad to be a part of it for the first time...I always suspected everyone here was crazy, now I know for sure!! LOL

Santa, I need a new camera for Christmas!

I tried over and over to take a decent picture of my "Griswold" living/dining room and just cannot ever get the lighting right. Anyway, this is the best I could get. If you notice, I have a wooden giraffe next to my tree that we put a Santa hat on. The Christmas Wreath on the wall with the lighted star in the middle belonged to my uncle who passed on in April. He hung it in the dining room every Christmas so it was appropriate I do the same. =)

Since this picture was taken I have added a village to the desk.

Good Afternoon MMC! Its been a crazy few weeks for me. Lots of subbing cuz every teacher needed off to take care of last minute things. Lots of CVS for me too, because it has been super busy. Today I have to brave the mall one last time with my boyfriend to get a few last minute gifts and then finish wrapping everything. I have to work Christmas day 10-8 but it really shouldnt be busy

It is in the 40s here in northern California this morning and should hover in that area all day. We have a chance (100%) of rain. No snow, though, in our forcast. Lucky Jennifer! My son whose birthday is today is supposed to stop by on his way back home from Sacramento. This is the son who UNTHINKINGLY sent over $300 CASH in the mail that I asked him to deliver to his brother for Christmas one year. Today, he will pick up his own cash for Christmas. His brother, who lives in Maryland, has already received his $$$ in the form of a cashier's check, thank goodness. I think I will tell my oldest son that I already sent it in the mail and see what he says!

I have the same problem, my camera finally died and I really need a new one. My phone camera is not all that great and I have not been able to get a good picture of my tree or livingroom either.

sounds like you have been as busy as me!
Our store will be closed Christmas day which is nice. The Macs store we are in is open and the lady who has to work that day is complaining to everyone who comes in, I get the feeling she is not happy about it!

Son is here and so very happy with his Christmas money. It is always a sure thing! I have some shopping to do in Chico today. I HAVE to get a special new bra (I think you know what I am talking about). I bought a blouse from Avon that I didn't realize was so low in the front, and it just doesn't look right so flat. (TMI, I know!) So I am off to the cancer patient store that also sells wigs. Maybe I will try on a few! Not too much longer and I won't have to wear a hat or beanie. Right now, though, it is too cold to go without one. TTYL
