It is in the 40s here in northern California this morning and should hover in that area all day. We have a chance (100%) of rain. No snow, though, in our forcast. Lucky Jennifer! My son whose birthday is today is supposed to stop by on his way back home from Sacramento. This is the son who UNTHINKINGLY sent over $300 CASH in the mail that I asked him to deliver to his brother for Christmas one year. Today, he will pick up his own cash for Christmas. His brother, who lives in Maryland, has already received his $$$ in the form of a cashier's check, thank goodness. I think I will tell my oldest son that I already sent it in the mail and see what he says!

Thanks! I only work until 2 on Christmas eve. We will celebrate before and after. I get to work with my boyfriend, which is nice. I think in the morning we will open presents at my parents house and then go back there for dessert. After dessert with my parents, we will probably go to his parents. Take care as well

Well, we might have something rare here in Oklahoma: a white Christmas! Weather forecasters are saying we have a snow storm moving in on the 25th! :???:

Son is here and so very happy with his Christmas money. It is always a sure thing! I have some shopping to do in Chico today. I HAVE to get a special new bra (I think you know what I am talking about). I bought a blouse from Avon that I didn't realize was so low in the front, and it just doesn't look right so flat. (TMI, I know!) So I am off to the cancer patient store that also sells wigs. Maybe I will try on a few! Not too much longer and I won't have to wear a hat or beanie. Right now, though, it is too cold to go without one. TTYL

When my girlfriend got her first one after surgery (double mastectomy) she said she felt like a teenager again! She even got a pair special for swimming. Only they did not work like they should. We both laughed so hard I am sure people thought we were insane! (they floated instead of staying were they should!) She never wore them again saying she did not need water wings now that she could swim. She was amazing, I am not so sure I would be able to take it all so well. She has an amazing sense of humour. She is now driving a transport truck and goes all over Canada and the States.

Cooking is going on....chili for my brother's arrival tonight (along with some intense wii action...I'm going to whip his....you know)...sausage balls are being pulled out of the freezer...everything else in in the oven...with the exception of one things...

Dropping in real quick to say hi. I am still fighting this cold but moving forward in full Christmas mode! We plan to be here for Lovemas (if I don't fall asleep, darn ol cold medicine might knock me out)

I'm the one that was falling asleep, you would think I was taking the cold medicine.

Cannot drink, not even coffee? This is a historic day!

hello everyone! I have a lot to catch up on here..I feel like a stranger...I hope everyone is doing good...My mom and some sisters are here until the 26th,along with brandi and her mom and dad and older bro!!! so we have a house full and I am loving every minute of it,.. I finished up work until Jan 7th and It looks as if me and brandi are getting to go next weekend to Wisp ski resort in Md and it looks like they are going to have a lot of snow New years weekend...Of course that can change 7 days out. THat is all for now...I have a lot to catch up on...I miss you guys and hope to be around more the next 2 weeks!

Glad you all had a blast last night. We were downstairs with the big screen---a Gloria Jean film (at the end, she becomes engaged on Christmas Day) and "The Bishop's Wife." Our guests are coming around six. They're bringing pizza with them, and we have the popcorn, cookies, soda, and movies. A really cold wind howling around here today. Earlier in the week the forecasters were saying almost no chance of a white Christmas, but this morning they were saying that there may be snow Christmas Eve night into Christmas morning. That makes me a little nervous, because we have to drive to the BIL's on Christmas Day. Outside of that, it would be a thrill to wake up to snow on Christmas!

Good afternoon Christmas family

Well, it isn't good news about my Wish. His kidney values (BUN, creatinine, phosphorus) are SEVERELY ELEVATED which means he is in kidney failure or on the verge. He is going to be in the hospital through Christmas to see if they can bring those values down with aggressive fluid hydration and meds.

If these measures work, he will have to be on maintenance getting fluids subcutaneously under the skin weekly. That may give him 3 to 6 months longer to live if it works.

If his quality of life is GOOD then it is worth it. I have been very lethargic ever since I talked to the vet....I feel like the "stuffings" have been knocked out of me. Of course I am going to do whatever I can for him.

Sorry for all this depressing talk. I am glad Christmas is not over yet and that it is snowing here. It is so beautiful and comforting somehow.

I will see all here for Lovemas later on xo Thank you all for your prayers.....xo

I had my Dr appt this afternoon, I have a sinus infection. I am on an antibiotic so I hope this will fix me. JP had his CAT scan tonight, now we have to wait for his Dr to look at it. I have to work in the morning, so I will miss the festivities tonight but the DVR is set.
