2 more heavy bands of snow and it looks like we will be done with the blizzard of 2012. We have just over 8 inches out on our street right now so we will probably end up around 10.

that is actually a really neat storm to dump 8" only on the street!

Temperatures continue to go down, we are at -6c (21f) now expecting only a pinch of snow now. So it looks like the trip over the lake shook out most of the snow.

now I have to find someplace in town that puts butane in stuff because my mini blow torch needs some to work

Hello Christmas friends!! :tree:

Hope you're all doing well today, and aren't too sad. I had a bit of the blues, but am so grateful to have you guys as Christmas friends all year 'round!!

And that is pretty GREAT!!

It's crunch time for Adrian & I. We only have a few days left here, and they're gonna be super busy...
I won't be able to stay caught up. I'll drop in when I can, but not sure how many days that I have before we disconnect our wifi, and computers, etc. Maybe Friday?

Please know you're always in my thoughts!!

And please keep us in your prayers for the trip to WI. I'm concerned about the roads, especially through mountains, etc. We're taking the southern route, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Flagstaff is a concern, as well as areas in New Mexico. I know my parents have had problems @ those areas.

Prayers going out for everyone affected by the blizzard. Stay warm & safe!!

Hope to talk soon~

Much love,
Stacey

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a great Christmas! I'm all jazzed up from testing out my new Keurig. I won't sleep for a week now. The kids got everything they wanted, and we had some great food.

I think I was luckiest of all, though. My brother and I have started restoring an old '77 Chevy Camaro, the same model I had in high school. When he came to our mom's for Christmas, he brought me an early present seen here. He built the engine without telling me. Then my mom gave me new factory seats for it! WOW!

Of course, my brother loves building racing engines, so he told me to expect 400hp out of this one. Oh my. We'll see. There's still a LOT of work to do.

I hope y'all have a great Pines day! cheesy

Wow Brad, thats awsome! That engine looks sweet in the photos.... (Your brother did a real nice job; what a christmas gift, that's one nice brother you got there!) Sounds like you were a good boy this year in Santas eyes...lol

Funny thing here again... I used to own a 79 camaro! I bought for 100.00 dollars (It ran but had 4 flats for sitting so long) I had it towed to my grandfathers garage and started working on it for 2 years. I ended up putting about 10/ 11 grand into it and then had it painted a midnight metallic blue color! I sold it when I decided to get settled down, then I heard that some time later on, the girl I sold the car to, she totaled it, driving too fast in the snow....

Don't forget Cracker Barrel in Kingman, AZ!!!

Now how is that mini cooper supposed to get over that 2 foot tall pile of snow-

This is how the front of my apartment building looked earlier (it's hard to tell but those are snow drifts 2 to 3 feet high against the rear of the building behind mine)-

Good afternoon, everyone! Sitting here enjoying looking at the snow. DH just called me and said he arrived at work and the roads are really bad. I imagine they will have a busy night. Praying for everyone's safety.

What are the rest of you up to? Not much going on here. I need to decide what to make for dinner. EA seems to be feeling better. I think maybe I will make a homemade pizza.

I guess I spoke too soon...DH just got called out for a fire.

Glad you are keeping us on track for 2013. Thanks, Binger! Having all the countdowns help keep the blues away! And they don't even have to be regular to do that!

361 days till LOVEMAS....

and yeah Christmas in July rocks....

YABBA!

Awww man, I was outside for just a little while to take care of the trash cans and reset the christmas light timers and I feel like a cold drowned wet rat.... It's miserable out there! No snow (which totally just bums me out), just a hard wind driven cold rain, the kind that can chill a person to the bones, if you know what I mean!

I'll take the snow anyday over this cold rain in December. It (the snow), always makes me feel like its Christmas, I just love it. I think I'm going to make a fire in the fire place and get a hot cup of tea...lol! The rest of the night is going to be Christmas cookies, Christmas specials and movies, such as;
  • The year without a Santa Claus
  • A Charlie Brown Christmas
  • A Christmas Carol (1999 & 1938)
  • Frosty the snowman
Well, tomorrow my Christmas vacation is over and I head back to the the office; sighhhhh! So I'm going to stretch it out as far as I can tonight. Stay warm and dry everyone and enjoy those Christmas leftovers....

..........:tree:A Post Merry Christmas to you all!:rudolph:.........
