The Christmas Countdown 2013 thread launch post has been completed and is ready for placement Jan 1!!

Now that is exciting!

Goodnight Coach ! I hope Mrs. Coach is feeling well xo

Coach- I hope the wife isn't in to much pain today!!

The Mrs. was up and talking last night and said she felt fine, but I think that was the pain medicine talking. I looked at her this morning while sleeping and the swelling is still minimal, but they said that the "real" swelling wouldn't start until tomorrow or Monday. But she is doing better and I truly appreciate the concern and wishes that everybody has thrown our way!

Well, it's a quiet morning...I've still got the Christmas tree lights on, the fire is going, and everything else is off...I love doing this during the season...it's so relaxing...

I'm about to get up and get in the shower...we've got a ballgame at 10:30, so I'm going to go....I will see everyone later today!

Have a great Saturday!

It is easy to do when you spend time with people of like mind who share in our day-to-day happenings. I think the key is the way we respect, care for and appreciate each other. And we care about others who are not necessarily on this site, as evidenced by Santa's Sleigh. How many people, like Merry Carey, do you know who would crochet an afghan with her own yarn and donate it to such a worthy cause? That is the Christmas Spirit in action.

Coach, you think our Boys have a chance for a winning the game tomorrow??? We have the game on at work on Sundays but I really don't get to sit and watch it. I am glad it will be on tomorrow night so I can see it all!

What kind of sliders? Are the apple blossoms a kind of pastry?
beef with cheese and bacon for the sliders
but, I have switched to a pot of homemade meatball soup because it is a snowy and blustery day and the soup will go great. Will still serve the buns with it. The house is smelling great with them baking and the soup simmering.

Apple blossoms are a flaky pastry with apple pie filling

served hot with icecream is wonderful

This past December 27th was my wife's (CAH) and my 9th anniversary of being together. Not wedding anniversary, just being together as a couple. It has flown by, but it has been the best 9 years of my life. Happy Anniversary sweetie!!!:celebrate::dance:

Just checking in real quick to say hi and goodnight. I had a busy night at work and want to get a few hours of shut eye. Talk to you guys later on! It's really snowing here! Enjoy your day!

I do think they have a chance. They are going to have to learn some serious lessons from their first match-up against RG III because he made them look foolish. I'm excited! I think all you can ask for in the NFL is to still have a chance on that last Sunday....if you would ask any team at the beginning if they would be satisfied with having a chance to go to the playoffs on the last Sunday, they would all say yes....

With that being said, GO COWBOYS and boo Bengals, Packers, Panthers, and Colts (a little shot at my other NFL friends here)

Last night before bed, the local meteorologist said we would get a maximum of 3 inches of snow between 1 AM last night and 1 PM today, and most likely would only end up with 2 inches. I woke up a little bit ago and we already have 6! It is still coming down out there, too! With all of the snow that we previously had, I'd say we have well over a foot in the yards. Thank goodness we had a two day break and they were able to clear off the roads from before. It is bad out.

I need to apparently double or triple what the local meteorologists are calling for because they are never right!!

LOL there is no point in you bashing the Steelers because we all know they are going nowhere!

That being said, my second favorite NFL team and the ONLY other team that I own a player's jersey for is the Cowboys. I will be wearing my Romo jersey all day long tomorrow. Let's go Cowboys!

Good evening, friends~

It was a LONG day of packing, and we are exhausted!!

Adrian still has to finish up some work, so we haven't shut down our computers just yet, but soon- later tonight.

So I wanted to pop in one last time. I read most of the posts, but don't have enough time to comment on them individually..

Thinking of you all, and wishing you a great week~
Stay safe, warm, and healthy. xo

We go to pick up the U-Haul tomorrow morning, then we start loading.
I have a feeling it'll be an interesting day. We have friends helping, and some coming later to say a final goodbye. =[

Harlowe is very anxious, stressed, and confused- poor little girl. I'm trying my best to reassure her that she's coming, but she won't realize it until she's in the car. Tomorrow, I'll test out the lowest dose of her sedative prescription. Please keep her in your thoughts.

I'm gonna miss you guys. Take good care!!

Stacey :sparkle:XO

Stacey,

You, Adrian, and Harlowe have a safe trip, I will keep you in my thoughts. I look forward to "seeing" you again after you are finished moving. Have a safe move.

Goodnight everyone! I finally got homework and housework done and it is raining for the second straight day so it should be good sleeping tonight. It's supposed to be freezing drizzle tomorrow and still no snow. What is it about Alabama we can get rain and ice but we can't seem to hit that happy middle ground for snow? Oh well, at least the hubs is off for the next four days so we can ring in the New Year face to face instead of over the phone this year:).

Stay warm, stay safe, and sweet dreams all!!:treeguy:

Enjoy ringing in the New Year with your hubby!

Happy anniversary to you two!

Ouch!! I was cheering for the 'Boys against the Steelers a few weeks ago. cheesy

To say the least, I never liked the 'Skins very much, but RGIII is very exciting to watch.

If you're lucky you will have a snow like we did 2 years ago when we had over 4 feet of snow on the ground at one time. I am over 6ft tall and the snowbank was taller than me.

Good morning,

Getting ready to head to my grandparents for our final Christmas celebration of 2012. But the decorations will be up for another week and a half. Then we have our usual small get together for New Year's Eve, and then I am sure the PCB's will fully be realized. We will probably have another family get together for my birthday, the 6th or the 13. Hmmmm, Maybe I can keep my trees up that long. cheesy
Finally watching The Polar Express for the first time this season, I will not miss watching this movie during the season, since most of the Christmas movies will go into hibernation next week. :-?

I hope you all are enjoying the Season, I will talk to all of you later.

Good Evening!
How is everybody doing!
I got two Christmas cards today =) Thank you!

I think this Christmas went to fast...
Cant we just start all over again? Let's begin with the December 1st?cheesy

I did some shopping for Christmas 2013 today.
I have a big box (marked Chrsitmas 2013) I want to fill with Christmas stuff all through the year.
Already I have some Christmas cards there, gingerbread house (!)
and a few calendar gifts.. Can't wait to fill it up!

We are soon having Pinnekjøtt for dinner cheesy

I miss you all!
And I do look forward for the Christmas Countdown - 2013!!

Proud to say the wifey is up and eating chicken noodle soup....she actually kinda laughed earlier....I'm glad she is up....it has been too quiet....I see her laying there sleeping and I want to wake her up and talk to her....I hate seeing her hurt, but this is just gonna be for a few days...the doctor said that while her procedure went great, it was one of the more difficult wisdom teeth he had pulled because it was growing parellel to the gum line and into another tooth....so they had to cut some of her bone out so they could twist it out.....

OUCH

As Made said, that hurts just reading about it! I'm glad she is up and doing better ~ I will keep praying for a speedy recovery!

What kind of a library doesn't have Dandelion Wine? I thought that was a modern classic! I hope you can get hold of a copy.

A library that serves a town of about 2100 people and buys triple or more copies of the works of such authors as Evanovich, Steele, Patterson and Meyer *sigh*
