I hope they had a chance to go to Cracker Barrel. Such a great restaurant!

Rats, I forgot to go there this year to check out there Christmas stuff. :-?

Want some Christmas records without the need of a record player/turntable?

I went to Ernie (Not Bert) everyday between Thanksgiving through Christmas, I got some pretty good music this year. Thanks RJD I would never frequent those if it wasn't for you.

Good afternoon, MMC!

My it is a cold one out there! I spent the morning getting the first six months of my decluttering to-do list made up and then even tackled a few of the chores. There is a red velvet brownie leftover from Christmas and I am debating on whether or not to have it for lunch ~ my brother just walked in the house so I guess I'll share it with him. He did bring me a large coffee, afterall :D

I have to put in a few hours of research yet ~ I don't want to, but I must.

In case I do not log back on, be safe!!!

Good afternoon,

I shoveled out this morning, 6-8 inches of the fluffy stuff, then we went out to do some errands for our New Year's Eve get together.
MerryCarey, I went to Ocean State Job Lot, and they have a ton of Christmas clearance. I don't know if there is any by you but I know it is a New England chain. I am going back on Thursday, to pick up some C7's, I am hoping to find some white mini-light chasers, my set is dying a slow death. Not really in a football mood today, so I am watching Prancer, I am not ready to let go of this Christmas yet.

Have an enjoyable day!

Please keep my sister Vickie in your prayers. The doctor found a spot on her lungs. Also keep my great nephew in your prayers. He went into an asthma-induced coma.

I will keep Your sister in my prayers...I will pray that the spot on her lungs is nothing...my mother has one, too...and it comes from a pneumonia she had when she was very little.......I will also pray for Your nephew, so he will wake up from his koma and won´t have any damages from it

I have records in need of a record player....mine died need to find a new one

The one we bought is a TEAC, and includes a CD player/recorder, radio, and cassette player; you can also patch it into a computer via USB if you want to convert LPs or cassettes to digital. It was pricy, though! Some companies also make low-end reproductions of vintage phonographs. One of those might work for you.

We have the same thing, Merry!
I have used it to convert a number of LP's to digital. Christmas albums, too!
Has a nice old-fashioned natural wood look that I like.

Hey everyone!

:tree:I hope everyone is having a great day today. The hubs and I have to work on cleaning/organizing our storage area to fit more stuff in from the after-Christmas sales:) And then on to the Redskins/Cowboys game tonight. Go Redskins!!
Have a blessed and beautiful day all!!:snowball:

Ha, sounds like we are all watching our football teams today. I am hoping the Broncos can finish the year off with a win and clinch the top AFC top playoff spot.

wow...í´d love to have one like this

just been watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail.....in Germany the movie is called "Die Ritter der Kokosnuss" which translates into "The Knights Of The Coconut".....hilariously funny movie

I think next year for Christmas we have decided to go with a real tree where we put up our 7.5 foot tree, so the kids can have the Griswold search for the perfect tree experience. We haven't had a real tree since 2003. We always got a Blue Spruce, that way they are so sharp, it will keep the cats from climbing it. cheesy

Just finished watching Holiday Inn, such a good movie.

That will be so special for your boys. I am sure you will take lots of pics!!!

Holiday Inn is one of my favorites. Of course, almost all Christmas movies are, especially the old ones!

I can't remember if I told you guys or not but my Countdown to Christmas clock flashes "Merry Christmas" and then "Ho, ho, ho" when the countdown has completed.
