I forgot to tell you guys yesterday that I made Rice Krispy squares. I melted 3 T. butter, added one 8-oz. pkg. Campfire Key Lime Mallow Bursts and stirred it until smooth. I then added five cups of rice cereal and stirred until coated, patted it into a buttered Pyrex container, cut into squares, and enjoyed. Come on out here!

Sounds yummy!! Send The Lear =]

The gas thing is a big deal with me for some reason!

Supposedly it was a 5.9 on the Richter Scale.[/QUOTE]

:lol:LOL.....I'm sorry Seawaters! But It's just that when I went back and re-read the last 3 pages of posts after lunch, these posts jumped out at me as I pieced them together. I about busted a gut laughing so hard to myself, that I had to post them here so everyone can share in a laugh....LOL:lol:

Seawaters, some time ago...possibly on Facebook or maybe here...you posted a recipe for some sort of dessert that has oreos in it (I know that may not narrow it down). But I'm going to find that recipe and make it this weekend...been thinking about it since you posted it.

Oh no Seawaters! I can't find the recipe. Do you have it handy? All I remember was it had Oreos and looked wonderful and has visited my dreams for weeks. :-D

Found it...I had emailed the recipe to myself:

Oreo goodness 1 bag Oreos, crushed 8oz cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup butter 1 cup powdered sugar 3 cups milk 2 sm boxes instant vanilla pudding 1/2 tsp vanilla 12 oz Cool Whip, thawed Cream together cream cheese, butter & powered sugar & vanilla. In separate bowl mix milk & pudding chill until set. fold in cool whip after pudding has set. add cream cheese mixture. layer with Oreos... Chill until ready to serve!

Will do. Just posted what we are having for dinner. If you want to stay, you are welcome!

Double yum!! Thanks, we just might take you up on that!!

What can we contribute?

then you have the peabody hotels which have ducks that are a part of the hotel. They march in twice a day to the music of john phillips sousa, swim around in the indoor fountain, and then march out again and go to their penthouse! It is so fun to watch. Hmg, maybe you could open up your house as a bed-and-breakfast and have the ducks for entertainment, lol!

sousa!!! (That was supposed to be full caps)

That sounds great! What time do you want us all over? cheesy

With the rain, we won't have room for everyone---unless you bring a tent, a generator for the projector, and some Coca-Cola. Then we're in business!

Your movie night and indoor picnic sound like fun. My sister used to put up "tents" made from blankets draped over chairs and would fix hotdogs and all the fixings for the kids to "camp out" when they were too young to go out by themselves. So fun!

I was thinking of putting together some scrapbooking projects into specific containers so I can just pick one up and work on it when I have time. By having it ready to go, I can work, put it back in its container and store it until I can work again. I will need to do it that way while we have the house torn apart for remodeling. I am going to put together some crocheting projects, too. Merry Carey, do you have your special Christmas afghan ready to start?

I'm working on a special one now. I hope I can finish it by July ...

Thank you!!! Someone got it! But the earthquake really was a 5.9!

Let us know how it turns out. Do you "do" Pinterest? I have LOTS of recipes on my boards.

When you say, "looked wonderful," was that because there was a photo or did it look like it might be wonderful? That will help me. It will also help if I know whether or not you use Pinterest.

Great. Thanks for letting us know, Ryan. I will post it to the recipes section, if I haven't already done so.

I am not on Pinterest...I'm sorry. And there was a photo...it was in a large bowl in the picture. I think the recipe I posted earlier is it. I'm going to eat something with Oreos this weekend, that's all I know! :???:
