Yabba@

Good evening,

Very busy day here, got up and mowed and trimmed the yard. Had a cookout with all the fixin's, but we forgot to cook our corn on the cob. I hate when we do that. I am exhausted, I work my late shift tomorrow for inventory and have Wednesday off. Just listening to some rare recordings of The Move I discovered online awhile back, some amazing stuff.

Headed to sleep soon.

Good night MMC!

I hate that too. Its either that or I forget something in the microwave and find it the next day.

Hello!
I'm having my coffee and l am listening to the local news. It is going to be cloudy today with showers/storms this afternoon and a high of 65 degrees. I am going to enjoy the 60 degree temperatures while I can, we are supposed to have a high of 87 on Thursday. Blah.
Not too much planned for today. I have to go to the supermarket for a few things and then back home for daily chores. I also have a couple of phone calls to make, including setting up driving lessons for my 16 year old. She registered for the summer drivers ed program up at the high school but I want her to have some private lessons first. And my oldest has off from work today so maybe I will do something fun with her, like getting our nails done.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

That's not too far away from Ben & Jerry's Factory, right? Didn't you go there last year?

I would love to go there.

Also, I just read that some areas of northern Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York received 34 inches of snow over the weekend. Crazy!
that was 2 years ago for my nieces wedding
Yes, Ben & Jerry's is close by and yes we are going again to check out what the newest flavor is!
Where my sister lives near Burlington they just got lots and lots of rain, her basement flooded and they are working on getting that all dried out. There are low mountains all over the place there so yes, I can see them getting snow as well

enjoying a cup of tea while listening to the rain hit the window. Going to pick up my daughter from work so she will not have to walk in the rain. (not that it would hurt her any! LOL)
I get to go to work at 10 this morning.

Good Morning, Fellow Voyagers.

Onward we sail over the ocean that is the year, always scanning the horizon searching, ever searching, for the sighting that yields a hearty "Land Ho", meaning that the land of Christmas Season has once again been spotted.

And what does our compass read this morning?
Let's take a look:
Days to the Season: 169
Days to Christmas Day: 211
Just over a week and a half away from our next trip Milestone, the 200-day Christmas Day buoy marker showing we are right on course.
Smooth sailing so far!

Warmer yesterday but still below "hot" which means comfortable around here.
Hopefully it can remain so for a while yet.
We stand at 64 degrees here at the current hour.

Have a Terrific Tuesday and a Perfect 'Pines Day Eve, Friends!

Very cool, CAH.
It is amazing how much the tickets go for today. Yesterday you mentioned the rock concerts you saw when you were in your teens. I am an 80's girl. I saw a ton of rock groups in concert when I was a teenager. All of the "hair bands". But we only paid around 20 bucks for a ticket back then. We could afford to go to and see whatever band we wanted.
My first big concert was Journey. I started looking through my tickets stubs and only paid $12.50 to see them!

It's an option in the "edit options" category under the "user cp" tab on the top of the page. It basically just doesn't allow people to see when you are online or not. You are just invisible.

I originally turned it on because I was getting burned out and had planned to take a month or two off from posting this spring
. I wanted to be able to lurk and read what was going on though without you all knowing I was here. Then Louann passed and I decided that I couldn't leave.

So now I'm just doing it to be mysterious.
You better not even think about leaving us for anytime!!!!
For some reason, I have not felt well at all today. I have been so sleepy and spent most of the day napping. So did Hubby. CAH, I loved the Sir Paul videos. Even Hubby stopped and listened and watched! He was amazed you could video there! I told him I had friends in high places!
Now days they can't really stop it because of cell phones and that's what we used. They told us at the door no cameras or camcorders. They don't have a problem with the cell phones and if you look online tons of people upload clips of concerts. Maybe we can stick with the story you have friends in high places! Ha ha!
Don't try to become "Mr. Cellophane" on us, Made. What would we do without you? Please don't entertain that thought again.
Agree! =)

Seawaters, I hope this morning finds you feeling better. Thinking of you.

xx

Even if I leave, you'll still see me when you come to do the dishes. Speaking of which, the weekend is over and there is a huge pile of them waiting on you!!!!

Good morning, friends! How are you all doing? All is well here! Just relaxing this am, after a very busy and tired day. I am caught up and ready to go though!

Happy Belated Memorial Day! How was your day yesterday? Mine was lovely! Lots of family time. I of course had to work Sunday night until yesterday morning. I got home around 8, I did some cooking, then had to have EA at parade line-up around 9:30 for baton. We marched in the parade, which she did a fabulous job. She's so cute. She doesn't do much of the routine yet - he instructor says she does it well during practice, but then during the parades, she pays attention to more what is going on around her. You don't blame her at all, only being 3. It's so cute! For any of you who are friends with me on Facebook, I posted a picture of her!

We had a picnic then after that. It was a blessed day. My mom and dad, sister and her boyfriend came. We had wonderful food and fellowship. DH made a fire later on. Around 5, I starting nodding off. The fire was making me sleepy. We were planning on doing hot dogs, mountain pies, that kind of thing, but I was really getting tired and I think the kids were too. I stayed up until around 7 and just couldn't do it anymore. I came in and did a few things around the house and hit the sack. I got up this morning around 7:30. I haven't slept that long, oh, since I can remember! Probably when I've only been sick, but I needed it.

Today, EA has preschool and we just have a lot of running around to do here later on. DS will be with us, so it will be a nice day!

Well, I am off to read some of the Countdown. I hope you're all doing well and you enjoyed the holiday yesterday. Have a great day and talk to you all later. God Bless and keep smiling!
