Wow, I go to Walmart with my sister and you guys went crazy. It took me 30 minutes to get caught up again.

I finally get back here tonight and I still have 13 pages to go through, busy day at MMC! I can't wait to go through it all.

Just watched some trailers for the new Superman movie...man...this is going to be good! I love summer movie series.

Also, I'm really looking forward to the Lone Ranger. It's about time we had another western on the big screen.

I am really looking forward to "Man Of Steel," I don't know if we will be able to go see it yet but that is the one film I do want to see this year.

I told you before about my boss posting the speeds at which we scan items at our till...

well 2 weeks ago I was #25 out of 39...last week I was #13 out of 39!!!

The boss was also very excited because we had an overall combined time of 19 items per min, which is higher time than stores that have been open for many years, she was so excited and proud!

Also we are having some top big wigs coming to the store tomorrow and CEO of the company, Galen Weston will be there.

Nice job on your speeds.

Good luck with the bigwigs tomorrow.

Good evening,

Had an absolutely horrible night at work, we had a power outage this afternoon where we had to pull everything off the shelves, and of course we get to the last few pieces and then the power comes back. We had to set everything back up, we lost over 90 minutes of time that I was supposed to be doing inventory. I asked my manager if we would be able to "book inventory" it instead, and of course not. By the time I was caught up enough, and after my dinner break. I didn't even start counting until 7 pm. It usually takes a good 4 hours to count and enter the numbers, I called my wife and told her I wouldn't be home until probably 11. I busted my butt and got out at 9, I am exhausted and glad I have tomorrow off.
Got a busy day ahead of me tomorrow, got to put in the other AC, laundry and so on.

Have a good night everyone.

Hope you had a good nights sleep xmas. Enjoy your day off today!

Hello everyone!
It is going to be warmer today, we will have a high of 80 degrees. Scattered showers/storms are expected.
I plan on going to Target later this morning, I have a list of things that we need. And while I am there I'm going to pick up a couple of tubes and maybe those noodle thingies to throw in the pool. I read that they may keep the ducks from landing in the pool. We'll see what happens. I also want to stop at the pet store for some new kitty cat toys. So many of their toys seems to vanish, I don't know where they go.
My daughter has her first driving lesson today after school with an instructor. I hope she does well with the private lessons. I just can't teach her. I am a nervous wreck.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Good Morning, Fantastically Fun-Filled Friendly Folks Forever Frolicking Fearlessly Forward Forgetting Few Fete Facts.

<< Alliteration X 13, Crown?? >>

Think I blew a fuse on that one.

So. Let's step back, relax a bit, and take this in:
Days to the Season: 168
Days to Christmas Day: 210
Now under 1.5 weeks off from Milestone #9, the 200-day Christmas Day Window, which we are just itching to open.
(Soon, now. All too soon!)

Continued warm. Getting more humid too, but still not bad at all.
No rain in the immediate future.
We are currently at 66 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina.

Allrighty, Guys.
Final 'Pines open house of May.
Seems incredible we are this far through the rolling year already.

Wonder what Carl has cooked up for this evening's theme.
Or should I say fried up? No.....FIRED up.
(There we are!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and -- oh, yes -- a Happy Hump day, too.
Carl just won't let us forget that commercial. I think he plans to run a continuous loop of it on the big-screen TV in the lounge.
(That camel!)

Good morning everyone!

Wow, It took me about 2 hours this morning to be able to log in and then once I was able to do that, get to any of the pages here... Did anyone else have any issues logging in early this morning (like 5-6 am, est)?

Maybe there must have been some sort of maintenance thing going on or some upgrades with the servers this morning!

glad you get today off after such a wild night!

Well yesterday I to drop the truck off at the garage because I could smell the rear brakes burning (locking up) and the truck pulling to the right in the front. Total damage, $850.00! It needed new shoes and all new hardware for the rear brakes and for the front ones, new pads, calipers, turn the rotors, re-pack all the bearings, new brake hoses. The mechanic said I could have lost my brakes at any time because the brakes hoses were so dry rotted... That would have not been good!

So, tomorrow I'm putting the mini van in the shop for a once over before I head down to Florida and back (about 2000-2500 miles) depending on how much I drive while down there. I do this every time just to be on the safe side of things. Boy, I hope nothing wrong with that one, the last thing I want to do is break down, on I-95 in another state somewhere. That happened to me once about 15 years ago as we were driving to Bush Gardens in Virginia, about 20 miles to go to the hotel, the alternator went up in my old Chevy Blazer right on I-95. Had to get a tow truck to tow it to some garage (Bob's garage in Bob's town; lol...) and it cost me $500.00 for a rebuilt alternator.

Boy, I bet you that guy was licking his chops when he saw those out of state tags, I could have heard him tell the rest of the mechanics there that day, " Ok boys, we got a sucker here, shops closing early today.....", ....
