Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, I think the moderate weather is just about over. It's supposed to be in the 90's here all week, with thick humidity. Have I said lately how much I like my desk job?

We have to get to work on the Camaro quickly. Jim doesn't have an air conditioned shop, and the area where we work on the car doesn't even have windows that open. Plus, I'm ready to drive it!

The severe storms are here. Our warning goes until 10:00 tonight. We've been having thunder, lightning, torrential rain, and high winds. But that is all, so far.

Hope Ryan, his community, and loved ones are safe. As well as all of you!

Has anyone heard from Seawaters?
I've been concerned, and wondering how she's feeling today. She is in my prayers.

I spent the day running errands, and grocery shopping. Then, I came home & threw in a load of laundry, and studied for a bit.

I've got dishes waiting for me, and the dishwasher needs to be emptied. Fun, glamorous night =]

My daughters driving lesson was a disaster. To make a long story short, she had a bad attitude with me and the instructor and is now punished. She is under the impression that she doesn't need driving lessons. I have driven with her and believe me when I tell you, she needs lessons. She has turned into such a sassy little thing. I don't know what happened to her. I didn't go through this with my other two.
I may have a glass of wine tonight.

P.S. I recently had a conversation with my folks, and we talked about my sister's & my rebellions, being grounded, and having bad attitudes as teenagers, etc...neither of us got in any real trouble. But, hard to believe we sassed the way we did- even though it was nothing major, I feel terrible, because I know I hurt their feelings back then. I apologized for both of us, and we had a good laugh.

My point is, this too shall pass!!

Remind her that driving is a privilege not a right and she can always buy her own car and pay for lessons herself if she does not like the way things are going. , wait, that is a conversation I had with one of my girls! LOL

You put bread in a pie iron, over a fire, and you can put what ever filling you want in them. I always do a pizza one, but you can fruit ones too - there's all kinds of different ones. Below is a picture of a pie iron.
