It was good thanks. The kids and I made sure their dad had a nice day at home. He actually thought it was the following week so he was really pleased.

It was a quiet weekend for us. Grey and dull here over the weekend. Slightly brighter today.

Thanks everyone for all the well wishes. I have only skimmed over some of the posts so I hope I haven't missed anything too important. I've not much planned today I want to take baby to the park but I feel exhausted.

Good weather yesterday, as predicted rain did not materialize.
The temps were moderate and we had lots of sun.
Now today is a different story, with rain in the forecast. At least no severe weather is anticipated.
Right now, we have 72 degrees here in the capital city.

Good evening,

My wifi went down for a few minutes, but it looks like it is all set for now. Just watching the post game show now. I received a phone call from my aunt earlier, she called to tell me her ex-husband passed away today, she was a little distraught and crying even though they divorced about 20 years ago. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor 3 weeks ago, and went downhill very fast. He beat leukemia 30 years ago, and he was a nice guy, his sense of humor was very similar to mine. He will be missed. When I lived with my grandparents he and my aunt would come over for Sunday night Uno games, that will be my fondest memory of him, the fun and conversations.

Good evening.
What a busy day. I am exhausted and I will be heading to bed soon. I got a lot done, so that's good. My chores are a little bit backed up because I was out of the house so much today but I'm hoping to catch up tomorrow.
I went for my physical this morning and everything seems to be fine. I had my blood drawn last week, they had the results already and that looked good too. The doctor will be sending me to have an echocardiogram, sonogram of the thyroid and a bone density test. The echo is because my dad has heart disease, the thyroid sonogram is because my mother has a thyroid condition and the bone density test is because I am getting older! I will schedule all of the tests but not until after this week is over.
I also had Maggie at the vet this afternoon. She is having airway issues. They see that her trachea is narrow. I was told the small breed dogs are more susceptible to this problem, especially Yorkies. The doctor started her on medication, I am praying it can be controlled and will not continue to get worse.
Well I have to wake up early tomorrow, my daughter has another exam in the morning.

Maggie is in my thoughts & prayers. Our Yorkie, Bonita, had the same problem. It was regulated well with medication.

I am having a hard time getting Maggie to take the pills. I'm cutting them up and trying to hide them her food but she is such a picky eater. This is going to be a challenge!

Good morning!
It is going to be partly cloudy with a chance of showers, with temperatures in the upper 70's.
My youngest is taking a Chemistry Regents exam this morning. I was going to run a couple of errands while she was at the exam but I decided to give myself a break and relax until she gets out. I will pick her up in about an hour and then I need to get some things done. My daughters graduation party is on Sunday and we will be going shopping today for new dresses to wear. We also have to stop at the florist to order a boutonniere for my daughters prom date. And I need to go to the supermarket for some things and get some chores done around the house.
