Would you say the day after tomorrow is "really closing in"?

A bit damp here yesterday but still nice warm temps for this time of the year.
Cooler, however, starting today.
And it's supposed to be below freezing by Thursday evening. What a change that will be!
I record 47 degrees here currently.

morning again, great how that happens every day! We get to start fresh every time with a clean day ready to use.

Training new girl at work tonight. Turns out she is the daughter of the brother of the guy I used to have a mad crush on in high school. It will be easy on me as she has to do all the work while I watch and make sure she does it right. I love training!

I think you would be a wonderful teacher !!! I wish you could have been my supervisor at the hospital. That way when I thought back on my experiences there they would be pleasant instead of the nightmares they are due to my supervisor !! xo

I can't believe we are almost at our first milestone!!! Hooray!

Guess what?????? There is a blanket of snow on the ground and I didn't even know it was suppose to!!! I got up for coffee and was giddy like a little kid hollering, "there's snow on the ground"!!! Yes, that's amazing for this place!!! It's so pretty!

The last I watched the weather was yesterday morning and I didn't hear any mention of it. Must have been mentioned last night and I missed it.

Since we don't get this too often I will probably take my granddaughter out for a little while to play in it when she gets here.

I signed in last night but never had a chance to catch up on here. I still haven't had a chance to read anything, my granddaughter is on her way. I will be back later!!!

Happy wet Tuesday everyone. We have had 2 days of heavy rain, (6 inches so far). Rivers are over their banks and low area are flooded. Now they are calling for it to change to sleet and snow on Thursday. I would welcome some cold weather and snow. Temps in the 50s and 60s are depressing in the winter. I long for the winter we had years ago.

My parents have had several good days and we are thankful for that. We will drive back down this weekend to visit with them while our son attends a baseball camp at Gardner Webb Univ.

Have you seen the post saying that MMC is now a community on Google+?

I took the plunge and joined Google+. I've never been on Facebook because the shifting security settings are intimidating, and it seems like it would be a time drain. Google+ looks more manageable to me, and since I only know one or two people on it, it shouldn't be a time drain.

I feel silly, though, 'cause now that I'm on it, I don't know what to do. I've joined the party and I'm just standing there smiling, sampling the punch and tasting the dip. Must find more MMC members to add to my circle.
