Christmas Countdown - 2013

Hello everyone. Starting tonight, my connection to MMC will be limited as we're going to be out and about for our anniversary! Can't wait, either! There is a cottage we've rented in a great old town north of us. There is (or used to be, I think there still is) a great antique store that has Christmas stuff out all year long. If so, I'll snap some pics to put up.

Had to work until 8:30 p.m. last night and couldn't get unwound after I got home. I finally had a cup of tea (decaf) and a few cookies and read a cookbook of gingerbread recipes, and that helped. But this morning I feel like I haven't slept. Ugh. I'm happy that it's Friday. But it's still going to seem like a l-o-n-g day to me.

ok, I missed something here, what did you do?

I tripped over a tool that my husband left on the floor and came down very hard on my knee. And since I'm so fed up with all of the construction that is going on, of course I blamed him. It's a good thing he wasn't here when it happened. lol

I've just been sent a little video about my shop which was made to show people all the unique stuff in our town. I'm really pleased with it and want to share!!. ( I have no interest in trying to push my business on here even though it is a christmas one, Ii just want to show people what i do. I hope that's ok?)

Good morning!
I am in the doctors office right now. I had to have a couple of tests done. One down, one to go. I hope they call me in soon, I want to get out of here. I didn't get to walk the dogs before I left and I still want to take them before it gets too hot. It also looks like it might rain, there are lots of clouds moving in. Anyway, not much planned for me today. My two oldest have to work and my youngest is going to do some shopping with a few of her friends in the Hamptons. Looks like I will get the house to myself for a while.

Hmmm, I got the "stay at work late" memo as well yesterday. I didn't get home until 9:30 pm... I had the very same problem, I was tired, but couldn't shut the brain off to go to sleep and I ended up tossing and turning all night. 4:55 am came really early this morning and I am now on my 4th cup of coffee this morning....

I had the very same problem, I was tired, but couldn't shut the brain off to go to sleep and I ended up tossing and turning all night. 4:55 am came really early this morning and I am now on my 4th cup of coffee this morning....
