I'm guilty! I love to go to the grocery store and clothes store as well. I would have to say though, that I love the grocery store more, I love to browse the isles; "hmmmmm lets see, I take one of these, oh, 5 of thoses, oh we just have to get those...." and for a snack later tonight lets get this....cheesy I'm a guy, always thinking with my stomach!!~

LOL!!!! I'd spend $300 a week on groceries if I did that. I don't go the grocery store without a list and I try not to deviate form that list unless they are out of something.

Ohhh, let me tell you, my wife hates it when I go to the grocery store! Everytime she we go, it's like clock work at the check out line; "How come I spend so much money every time I bring you along"?????

Huuuuhhhh???

I am with you! I love being out and about like that, especially during the fall. I have stores I love to go to and just look around in, even when I know I'm not going to buy. I'll stop and grab a Coke Zero (I can't do coffee in the summer!), then grab lunch at another spot. My favorite is when I take a day off work just to do that!

Speaking of...I was in Target the other day and they were rolling out their back to school stuff. I love it, because around here they'll keep it out through mid-September, then it will be replaced with Halloween stuff. In mid-October, Christmas items start popping up in there, and begins to slowly take over the seasonal section until Halloween is no more!
o
the Target store in London was also putting out its back to school items. This is a great time to buy items for the Operation Christmas Child boxes!

Good Morning Everyone!, its been another beautiful weekend here in Sunny Wales, but it has also been a sad weekend for our town and mountains. This weekend the hottest for a good 6-7 years has caused some major problems, we sadly lost 2 local people one on saturday and one on sunday who took no notice of the warning signs around the local reservoirs, neither drowned but their bodies simply closed down as the water was so cold. The Brecon Beacons are used by all sectors in our military, from sas to territorial. This weekend was the turn of the Territorial Army, the national news are claiming that two soldiers died and one is in intensive care, but the local news on the street is that the mountain rescue brought six bodies down on saturday. We are all really shocked and the town is a somber place today. As a town which has proudly hosted the British army for many years, we are respect and support them. The bunting is hanging throughout the town ready to celebrate the birth of the new Royal, perhaps people shall see it more as a mark of respect for those who did not join us this monday morning.

Sorry to hear that, I will keep the families and your community in my thoughts.

So, how many of y'all are taking part in the CIJ celebrations here on MMC?

I have a graduation party for my nephew on Saturday and a 50th birthday party for my brother in law on Sunday. I'm kind of bummed out about the parties falling on that weekend. I'm really hoping I have time at some point to pop in.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a great birthday yesterday. My mom make spaghetti, substituting turkey for ground beef. You couldn't tell the difference, and I love her spaghetti sauce. She simmers it all day with fresh tomatoes, onions, etc. Yum, yum! Oh, and I got a very cool Star Trek t-shirt!

I just realized my driver's license expired yesterday. These days, they want you life history to get a replacement. Birth certificate, SS card, copies of utility bills (to verify your address), etc. That's seriously crazy. And to top it off, I had lost my birth certificate some where along the way. Usually, that's not a big deal, but I was born in Germany while my dad was stationed there. So, I had to apply to the State Dept. for a replacement Report of Consular Birth Abroad form. It took forever (and a big check), but I finally got it last week.

I'll be glad when things settle down!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Glad you had a great birthday, we use ground turkey for everything (chili, tacos, sloppy joes, etc...) because my wife doesn't eat red meat. I introduced it to her when we first started dating, and we love it.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Sounds Of The Seasons gets it together. I was so disappointed that it hadn't switched when I checked this morning!

I was looking forward to annoying my wife with Christmas music in July. I hope it switches soon, because that "The Pulse" music makes my ears bleed.

Speaking of furbaby hugs...

Happy and Holly were glad to see us when we returned from our weekend away. They stayed at my in-laws, with the kids, so that helped some having the kids around. But they were both very happy to see us...then after the initial love, Happy pouted all night because we had left him. He does that everytime we go somewhere. I had to take this picture because he looked pretty cute. He's a big ol' baby!

Awww!! That is a precious pic!!! He's so darn cute!!!

Harlowe will do that sometimes, too. Fur kids are funny that way!! =]

I just got a surprise! My son-in-law has already picked up the kids. He just had to clean out a moving truck today and that's it. He just informed me he has the rest of the week off because his boss is going out of town so that means I have a week long vacation! I will miss the kids but this is a much needed break. I have been running 7 days a week, babysitting, working at my job, busy at church, running errands and starting to feel very run down.

Plans for the week... REST! I also have a couple of video projects to do for church. Planning to catch up on some cleaning and organizing too. Since I am not feeling 100% today, I think I will start off with watching a Christmas movie and resting. Oh yeah, I might actually have more time to visit you all on here!!!!!!!

Enjoy your rest, you deserve it!!!

I use a lot of ground turkey too!! They only thing I don't like to do with it is, make my own burgers. The texture just isn't right to me. I can buy the preformed burgers at the store though and eat them with no problem.

The only thing about turkey burgers for me is they don't have enough fat to keep them from drying out. However cooked in pasta or another dish and it is perfect.

Oh what a sweet picture Ryan, adorable!

Is that an apron with an owl on it? I have to go to my Joanns and see if I can find that. Too cute!!

Yes!! Isn't it neat?!

They are 30% off right now, too!!

if you make your burgers from scratch add a tablespoon or 2 of olive oil per pound when preparing, it will help to keep them juicy,

Good evening, MMC friends! How are you all? What's new and exciting? Nothing going on here - wanted to stop by and say hello real quick, soon going to go lay down, hopefully take a nap before work tonight.

What are you all up tonight? I hope you're having a great evening and doing something fun. My family had a busy day, but it was fun as always.

Well, I am headed to bed. I will talk to you guys all tomorrow. God Bless, keep smiling as always! Make it a great Tuesday!
