There have been 59 pages of posts since I logged off last night! So glad to see you were all having a great time.
I have to work from 8am till noon today and then have company around 1 so I will not be on here much until after then. Is this all weekend, or just last night?

The day after tomorrow will see us down to just 2 measly weeks until the 100-day Season Window opens wide to reveal a double-digit landscape.
(Almost as nice as the view from the upper deck of the Shispering Pines!)

Still the heat and humidity yesterday but it didn't seem quite as bad.
(Was it really better or am I just getting used to it?)
We are at 76 degrees here to start things off this morning.

Many places around us are still without power and will not be getting it until around 11pm tonight, it has been out since around 6pm yesterday.

I am so excited, we are getting a teacup chihuahua! These dogs were rescued from an illegal breeder who was abusing them, locked in a hot barn, not enough food or water. Some of them are very sick. The lady who resuced them asked if I would like one. She will let me know when they are ready to go.
I am going to have a new furbaby!

Awww thats good it sure will be one lucky wee dog. :wink:

I'm doing good. A little frustrated because I'm having a problem getting QVC on my tv. This happened to me the other day with HSN. It's kind of weird how I'm getting interference with both shopping channels. I accused my husband of having something to do with it! So I'm catching a few minutes here and there on the live stream on my computer when I can. I'm enjoying reading everyone's posts though!
And Maggie is still coughing occasionally. She isn't finished with the antibiotics yet, so I'm hoping they will continue to help her. Thanks for asking!

Good evening everyone!

I have finally been able to tune into QVC to experience their Christmas in July! I can't stop smiling right now. It's a beautiful sight. I hope you've all been enjoying the coverage and your weekends.

I've had a decent day today. It started out with an hour 1/2 running/throwing workout with a friend. Hopefully I get out of the house in a similar way sometime tomorrow. It may be a little hot outside, but I feel useless if I am not out and enjoying the summer weather.

As for tonight, Kim and I will be staying in and watching a movie on Netflix. I think a nice, quiet and relaxing evening is what we need right now, especially considering I was out of town last weekend and had to attend a pub night last night. Busy times!

Well, I hope you're all enjoying your weekend and Saturday evenings!

great night at the church. We had a dessert night as a fund raiser for missionaries returning to the Congo after a 50 year absence. Very exciting to see what the Lord is doing there. I will give a link to their story as soon as they get their web site done.

Now I am tired, taking my daughter to work then going to bed.

Hey everyone, I'm just checking in to say hi....I couldn't jump in tonight like I wanted to here because I ended up doing concrete work all day at my grandfathers and I'm just plain outright whipped....I had my backsides kicked today and I'm paying for it right now; I need an aleeve!

I knew that I had to do some topical concrete work on the walk right against the bottom, right hand corner of his house today, but as I was prepping the area, I realized that water had gotten down in the gaps and had underpinned his foundation, which could of had collapsed part of his house....

Oh brother, I had to go back to Lowes and get 15 (80 lb bags of concrete) and 5 (60 lb bags of sand mix). I had to open up the walk and and then I mixed all that concrete by hand in a wheel barrel and then I did the bags of sand mix to top it off.. By the time I got back home here, ate my dinner, showered and got the mail, it was 9:00pm.

I'm heading back downstairs to chill for a few and then crash...I'll check in tomorrow sometime; have fun tonight..I will miss you all~

we are back from the wedding.........Kandice and I connected with another part of Jones´ family and it was good to meet them.......the wedding itself was fun! Beautiful people, happy Camerounian Music (a bit reagge like but not so heavy....very easygoing).....lots of food and dancing (and some people might have wanted to cover up the kid´s eyes at some dancing ).....it was a great day and I hope and pray that my brother Franklin and his beautiful wife Annette will be together and love each other til death parts them

dead tired now, tho.....we left yesterday at 10am........Jones slept three hours in the car until we left.....Kandice slept for 4 hours......I slept not at all......I drove the first hour back....Jones the next two and half hours.......Kandice slept all thru the ride......we arrived back home at 10minutes to 8am.............slept a little...but since the Nudettud won´t sleep no more......I´m up now, too......wouldn´t be good to sleep too long anyway....then i wouldn´t be able to sleep at night

oh yeah....on the way to the wedding Kandice chose a cd to listen to.......it was her Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer CD

With this annual madness causing a dizzyingly wild posting rate, I'm overwhelmed and simply can't monitor all the messages.

Fortunately, I CAN monitor this:

Days to Christmas Day: 157
And I can also report that as of tomorrow, we will move to within 2 weeks of the 100-day Season Milestone.
Then, the first of our double-digits count.
(Now that's REALLY something to be hilariously hyper-happy over!)

Plenty of the heat and humidity to go around yesterday with a brief afternoon shower that did not moderate things.
Likely a continuation today.
We are at 74 degrees here to begin the day.

Christmas Vacation is on VH1!

Good morning all! Hope you are keeping cool these days! Its been very very hot and humid here in jolly old London Ontario. Finally today is a cooler day. I have been watching Christmas in July sneak peek on QVC. If you own an idevice you can download the app. It has streaming HD channel on it! I have been posting some pictures of it to my facebook. Feel free to add me if you want as well . Getting excited for the holidays to move it and come already! I have seen a few back to school commercials on tv so that's a good sign! I found the movie I have been looking for! Battle of the Bulbs. Its a halmark movie about two old friends that battle over who puts out a better Christmas display. BUT the only thing is its in the American Itunes store, not the Canadian. Guess I will have to find where in Canada I can get American Itunes cards. Anyone know? I also want to buy everything on QVC Christmas as well haha, I'm sure all of you would too. Well time to get going, going out for a bit. Have a Merry day!

Right now just searching for mini Christmas get away. Every year we go somewhere not to far away to stay for the night and take in the Christmas atmosphere. Last year we stayed at the Riverwalk in San Antonio. We had a balcony room overlooking the Riverwalk and watched the Christmas parade. That was very nice!

Also got a little Christmas shopping done!

I actually slept in until about 10am!!! I haven't done that for years. I have so little QVC this year, and when I actually have had a moment to turn it on they have had stuff like nail polish (on right now), Whatever mercury glass is, and some disgusting looking food. I guess it is just not my year to watch it. My wife saw me watching it last night, you would've thought I was watching a naughty movie!!!
The heatwave has finally broken, the air conditioners are getting a well deserved day off. We have a few errands to run but nothing more than that.

Have fun watching QVC, or your Christmas movie of choice, I did see that Christmas Vacation and Christmas With The Kranks were both on earlier.

Worked yesterday. Slept a lot today, I slept until 10 this morning, then took a nap 5 hours later. Counting down the days until vacation. cheesy (28 days)
