Hello everyone and happy Monday morning. Well, our cool front is over, back to the heat. :-? That's alright, as August will be over before I know it and into September where it will cool down a bit.

Awful news out of Indiana regarding that church bus crash. I have been a youth pastor and have taken my share of groups to camp, and have even driven church vans like that many times. That was always my biggest fear! Praying for all those involved and those who lost loved ones.

Well, not much new to report here. Thank you all for the well wishes regarding my wife's interview today and my birthday. You guys are awesome!

I have an interview with another prospective broker tomorrow!
It will be nice to have another company to compare my prior meetings to. I just want to make the right decision for us.

Good morning!
It is going to be sunny today with temperatures in the lower 80's. Just walked the dogs a little while ago and it is warm out there. I am moving slow today, I'm on my third cup of coffee. It's going to be one of those days. But I have to get moving soon, I have a few errands to run and lots of chores to do. Dinner with my in laws again tonight, they head back to Florida tomorrow.

These are my latest cakes, all for one event. This was a farewell to our interim pastor and his wife who have been with us for just over a year. When he preaches he will ask a question and then reply YES with a thumbs up, which is why the cake was made this way.

Thanks, Meceka. They started to kick in yesterday afternoon!!! Yippee!!! I am taking B12; Centrum Silver, "designed to support breast and bone health"; and Hema Flex. I was so happy to start feeling like a healthy person finally!!!

So so glad to hear that hope it keeps up

wow, what a whirlwind time we are having! My niece on the way home from Vancouver to North Carolina, had her flight delayed in Toronto. Connection out of New York was cancelled due to some bad weather in New York. They then wanted to send her on to Detroit and put her in a hotel for the night which got her parents very upset. So they called me and asked that I pick her up for the night. Well airport is 1 1/2 hours from here so by the time we gassed up and got there and home again it was just after midnight. Now here it is 5 am and we have to get ready to go back again for a 9:25 am flight departure.
So off we go, have a great day everyone!

Good Monday Morning to you all! Well it's the start of week one of the summer school holidays. I have to admit I feel somehwat exited that in 6 weeks time when school reopens it will also mean my first encounters with halloween and christmas items in the shops......

The weather has changed drastically, the sun and dry weather has been replaced with grey skies and heavy rain. But atleast it is still warm so a walk in the rain feels quite pleasant We are looking at taking the children to the Science Museum in the city and the Sealife centre this week. They are indoor activities so the weather won't impact us and both trips will be very stimulating for the kids.

We had a nice weekend although we didn't really do much. It was just nice to be off work yesterday and unwind . We started watching The Hobbit last night but my eldest fell asleep after the first 15mins. We decided to stop and resume today as he has been looking forward to it.

As I am writting this the clouds are breaking up.......

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas in July weekend! Things will really pick up on here over the next few months!!

Good morning!
Hope everyone is doing fine!?
My stepson is now in USA on his adventure...
Three days in New York before he travels to meet his
'new family' in North Carolina...

We wont be seeing him until June next year when he has
finished his year at High School.
We are 'picking him up' in Washington (after we spend some days in NY)
and then take a trip around USA together...

It's so HOT here.. Hard to get some sleep tonight..
My head hurts...and Im dreaming of snow! :grin:

Good morning, everyone! How are you all doing? I am well, just trying to get my first cup of coffee drank, without it getting cold, but most of the time in my house, that is next to impossible!

What is new with all of you? Not much here. I hope you all enjoyed CIJ here at MMC. I didn't get to participate like I wanted to. I worked this past weekend and was very busy as well. I'm sure you all had a blast. I was here in spirit! Nothing is really new here with me. EA has to go to the dentist in this morning, but other than that, I have nothing planned today. I was planning on taking her, but she wants my DH to take her this time, so I will stay home with DS.

Well, I am off to read more of the site and get the kids breakfast, since EA just got up. I will talk to you guys later on. Hope you all enjoy your day. God Bless and keep smiling!

Good morning all!!! I think it's going to be bit cooler here in North Carolina today. Not sure what the day will bring, nothing really planned. I do know this evening I will be working on the scarf I am making.

My DD is gone to spend the night at a friends so it's just me and the two boys. So not sure if they will want to get into anything or not.
