Christmas Countdown - 2013

My Hubby's birthday is today so this morning I made a key lime pie... vey simple and very good

5 egg yolks
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup of key lime juice

Mix and pour into a graham cracker crust. Which I bought premade
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes

Sounds good! Please post this in the Recipes forum, so everyone will see it.

Good evening,

I saw my first 2 Christmas magazines of 2013, one was called "Holiday Crafts" and the other was a Woodworkers Holiday issue. Wooohooo! I won't be buying either one but knowing they are out makes me happy.

One more day until a day off, it will be busy tomorrow with bargain hunters buying goods without any sales tax.

I am absolutely exhausted, so I am heading to bed soon.

Well I can officially say that I have finished shopping for one person on my Christmas list. I just ordered all 8 seasons of Full House for my niece in Seattle off of amazon. She has been obsessed with it on tv here lately and keeps complaining because they show the same one's over and over. So now she will be set.

I bought a Full House box set for my girls when they were younger. We love that show!

we have had a few storms that were louder than my fan too! I also cannot sleep without this white noise going.

I always have a fan running too. I started doing it so the dogs didn't hear every little noise but now I can't sleep without it.

Hey yall! Big weekend for me....wife is gone and went to spend the weekend with her mother...

So I went out, got a bite to eat, sit back and the chair, turned on some NFL football that I have recorded, and I will be spending my weekend with you....

Enjoying the last few weeks of quiet time before Baby Bambina arrives....

It's almost time for life to change...but for this weekend....I will enjoy this moment....

I wasn't able to get a lot of photos but I will say rather than just having a few rows set up, the first ten plus were dedicated to fall/Christmas (with about three fall, the rest Christmas). Deeper in the store were also Christmas crafts, material to make wreaths and other holiday decorations! And, the trees are finally up...

Good evening!
Well the headache that I had earlier turned in to a migraine. I had to take something and lay down. I feel much better now, just tired. I still managed to get a couple of errands out of the way. I'm a little bit behind on my laundry but thats ok, it's never ending anyway. Tomorrow is another day.
We don't have too much planned for the weekend. I'm going to give my parents a call to see when they plan on coming home from Pennsylvania. They have spent so much time there this summer, I'm happy that they are enjoying their place there. There was a time when we would drop everything to go and visit them for a weekend. Now my husband is always working, the girls have their jobs and with two cats and two dogs it's not so easy to just pick up and go anymore. I will definitely plan a barbeque for when they come back. I'll invite both of my brothers and their families, that is always a good time.
I hope everyone had a happy Friday and has a wonderful weekend!
